    Last time we dined here, we were sorely disappointed....and it came down to the waiter who did nothing of what we requested from the wine to the cooking instructions for the meat. The waiter was a dud, but not the restaurant, so we gave it another go. This time we weren't disappointed and enjoyed every last bite and drink. For South Maui, Ruth Chris is the best place to dine if you seek scrumptious steaks and chops. A. Neal

    We tried the prix fixe menu this time and chose the filet w/shrimp, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, upgraded to the Wedge salad and the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Steak wasn't as tender as I've had before, but still cooked to order and good. With the upgrades to the order we were able to customize our dinner, but, of course, you have to pay the difference in price for an already pricey dinner experience. But we love this spot and make it an annual thing when we're on Maui.

    Great food and great service. The gumbo is phenomenal. The cowboy steak was perfect. However, the restaurant is very expensive.

    We had Blaine as our server and had a wonderful time celebrating my friend Susi’s bday month. She felt the love and everything was perfect from start to finish. Thank you for making our night so special.
