   It was our last night on this island before continuing to Oahu. We were on our honeymoon- and decided on going to this place for our last night. The food was alright and the service was average. Even the dessert which i was looking forward too(upside pineapple cake) was overdone and dry. This is not a location that I will go to again.

   Had an excellent dinner tonight with delicious crabcakes to share, lamb shank and the macadamia crusted catch which today was mekajiki, a broadbill swordfish that I had never tried before. Highly recommend this dish. The chocolate souffle was, as always, the perfect ending. Our server had some great wine recommendations. Wish the noise level was a little more manageable for someone with hearing issues as conversation was often challenging...

   The service was good, the food was excellent. We celebrated our anniversary here and they were very nice and thoughtful with a special presentation dessert. This is our second time dining at Roy’s and we definitely recommend eating here for a great experience

   Let’s start with great staff, they were on point! The food however was sub par. We ordered 2 recommended dish’s. The Butterfish (signature) was fishy, my husband didn’t finish. Then my scallops topped with crab also a bit fishy- the crab. I’ve never had scallops at a restaurant that didn’t have a sear. These seemed baked cooked well. Pineapple upside down cake was nice.

   We always stop by Roy’s on the BI. Great food and service. Julian was our server and he was great! Lots of personality and made our dinner enjoyable. We can’t wait to get back to the BI.
