   The food selection was great. It was a big improvement from last year. Everything tasted fresh and the desserts were outstanding. It was family friendly with Easter activities for the kids and a free family picture with the Easter Bunny. Highly recommend!

   Second time we have had Easter brunch here. Beautiful setting. Wonderful food. Lots of variety. Stations are spread out so you don’t feel you’re at a cafeteria. Not cheap. But truly excellent. Class all the way.

   For 110 dollars and for most of the hot food to be cold was wrong. The lobster risotto was underdone and hard. The ham was dry my coffee had ground in it. Again for a 30 dollars buffet I would have not complained but for 110 dollars I won’t be coming back.

   The room is lovely if a little worn, but the food was just appalling — bland and badly overcooked. You’re better off going across the street to Open City.

   Wait time to be served was ridiculous. It took us almost 2 hours to have breakfast. The servers are very nice but it seems that there’s not enough of them. They are overwhelmed and not everybody gets served in any kind of a reasonable time so I actually don’t believe in the servers who were really really trying, but the management who has not brought on more servers.

   Had a res at Robert’s, the restaurant with the view and the bright sunshine. When we arrived we were told there was private event and they moved us to the bar. We walked from the zoo, no car, so we couldn’t just hop over to another place. Not happy. But, whoever bumped us with their big fat check probably doesn’t care. I ordered pasta. It wasn’t hot but the service was so marginal I didn’t want to send it back. Regrettable decision to go there.

    I was there for a conference so that’s something to consider. I made sure to make a reservation because I how busy it was. Even with a reservation I still waited at the entrance with a mob of people trying to be seated. There was a lack of organization overall. They were not searing people according to their reservation time so a table of 4 with a 1:30 reservation was being seated before someone with a reservation of 1:15pm. We waited in line and were seated 30 minutes after if reservation time. Once seated the waitress were rushing us to order. I ordered the shrimp cocktail to have with my wine because I wanted to start with something refreshing. The 3 shrimp were cooked. That was unexpected! It was clear there wasn’t a going to be a chance I would be able to order more food. The staff didn’t come to the table to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. They were busy running around clearing and resetting the tables. I inquired if they had dinner service available, was told no. So they were setting up for tomorrow’s lunch I guess. I saw the woman in the table next to me gesture to the waitress to order something after her meal and the waitress told her she couldn’t get anything else because the kitchen is closed. Then the waitress asked her what it was that she wanted. She wanted a cappuccino. Thankfully she did serve it. But the chaos, disorganization, and overall rush is not conducive to a pleasant meal experience. Perhaps they needed more staff when there such a large conference being held at the hotel. And they should be open longer, not that the kitchen is closing soon after you get seated.
