   We liked one of our appetizers (wings), but the entrees were just ok. Sides were underseasoned, and service was slow even with a reservation. Expensive for what we got.

   Rated 2 stars out of 5 because 1.5 stars wasn't an option and 1 / 5 should be reserved for truly horrible experiences. We were a party of six. Two of us ordered the exact same entree (NY Strip) and both ordered it medium rare. One came rare and the other came medium well. I ordered a salad along with my entree and both of them arrived at exactly the same time. Those who ordered hamburgers were pleased. Everyone loved the brussel sprout appetizer. The waitress was not a seasoned professional, but was clearly working as hard as she could to try to take care of more tables than should have been assigned to her. Overall, the resort is nice, but the only reason we ate at this restaurant was because it's in the resort. We'll be here several more days, but won't eat at this restaurant again.

   We arrived to our reservation and was told by the young blonde hostess “There is your table {with finger point}” and we sat ourselves, while waiting 15 mins for service while several girls chatted at the hostess stand next to us. Live music/DJ was way too loud to enjoy a conversation or for our server to hear us properly. Service was terrible..server even used her fingers to open a sandwich and check order…Disgusting!! 4 adults and two children while giving a default hefty tip on an overpriced meal with LITTLE effort ($50+). I ALWAYS tip over 20% but it was pretty pathetic and embarrassing that we brought out of town guests here. We live in The Woodlands and attempted to try this restaurant again for ambience, but nothing has changed. Disappointed for sure..especially with affiliation to Woodlands Resort….will not be returning. Shame on you {Back Table} for not addressing these continued issues and shame on ME for not reading all the reviews before making my reservation….

   We have stayed at the Woodlands Resort for the past 6 years. We went to dinner like normal and were treated with the loudest restaurant ever. The cacophony of noise from everywhere was so awful we couldn’t sit across the table from one another because we couldn’t hear each other. It was also extraordinarily hot in the restaurant. We ordered our drinks and quickly realized that we would not be able to dine at this restaurant at all. We were very sad that this new restaurant has become the state it is as we won’t be going back any time soon. We have to let our ear drums settle down and recover.

   Took over an hour to get appetizers and another 20 minutes for food. Then the food was over cooked and cold.

   Came here for Mother’s Day and was very disappointed. The service was incredibly slow and unresponsive we were waiting for each course and each round of drinks for 30mins at a time. Not only was the service terrible but the food was incredibly underwhelming with tiny portions and little flavor. The only reason the experience wasn’t completely ruined was because we were in good company. On top of this all, there was an added gratuity for a party of 5 when the menu and website says there is only added gratuity for parties greater than 6. If I could give a 0/5 I would, 100% do NOT recommend.

    Made Mothers Day reservations for 11a for breakfast. Got email Sunday morning saying they closed at 11 and reset to lunch at 11:30 so moved me to 11:30. Get there for reservation and see lots of people eating breakfast? Lunch menu was limited. Service was very slow. Also, they automatically added gratuity to my bill. Almost missed it and add more tip, luckily caught it. Won’t go back. Don’t give me bad service then automatically add a tip.
