   Another very good lunch at Camp Verde. Patty was our server (again 👍), so we knew it would be a good meal service. I like the Chopped Steak platter and Deb the Hotsy Totsy Sandwich, so that was our pick today. Finished off with Caramel Gelato for Deb and the Bread pudding for me. Good to see Dominic out of the kitchen and visiting with us and the other clientele. We have never had a bad meal at Camp Verde and it remains one of our favorite dining spots.

   Our 1st visit. We will defintely bring out of state visitors here Take the back roads from San Antonio for a scenic drive

   As usual, delicious food and wonderful service!! Cierra, a new waitress, was absolutely great! She was very attentive and had a wonderful demeanor! Look forward to going to back soon.

   We had to wait for our reserved table 15 minutes. We were served our meals 45 minutes after our arrival. The server was very courteous and friendly. Could have checked on us during the meal better.

   Today was a beautiful day in the Hill Country, so it was perfect for eating outdoors with old friends we had not seen for some time. The food is always delicious, and the service is some of the best in the area.

   Enjoyed a great lunch with friends! Great menu, something for everyone! Busy but our server was so attentive and kept our tea glasses full. Looking forward to my next visit! Be sure and allow time to shop in the gift shop!

    Camp Verde's culinary offerings were truly exceptional, delivering a memorable dining experience. The chicken taco salad was vibrant and fresh, with perfectly seasoned chicken and crisp toppings. The fried pickles were a standout appetizer, offering a delightful tangy crunch. The meatloaf and chop steak were cooked to perfection, showcasing the kitchen's skill, and paired beautifully with the unique, mustard-based coleslaw. The sweet potato tots and fried okra were equally impressive, adding a flavorful and textural dimension to the meal. While the food was undeniably the highlight, the service fell short of expectations. Our server, who appeared to be new and somewhat disoriented, resulted in longer than necessary wait times and inconsistencies in attending to our table's needs. This service discrepancy necessitated a one-star deduction. While the food alone warrants a return visit, attention to service consistency is crucial for a fully positive dining experience.
