   I have been going to Waterway Cafe for years and years. Went before it became "upscale." The food is good. I have no complaints there. I can't understand why they won't let me park my own car. Most of the spaces in the lot have cones in front of them preventing you from parking your own car. I really would rather park myself rather than have a valet do it, but Waterway leaves you no choice. Would I come back? Probably. But I think they need to open up more spaces to self parking.

   Loved what you did to the place, really beautiful. One of the best views on the intercoastal. Our waiter, Kevin, was great! Hope we have him again when we come back

   The ambience and vibe is very good. The menu is large and varied. All portions were prepared as ordered and were very tasty. We opted to dine outside and the view was nice but limited. The restaurant is quite close to a bridge and the road noise was loud. Overall we enjoyed the meal.

   Made a reservation approx 2 weeks prior to anniversary date. Communicated that dinner was special for anniversary. Our table was inside instead of outside by the water and not even on a window. Waterway did nothing to celebrate with us. There is an automatic 20% markup added to your bill for tip. The purpose of a tip is for the customer to show appreciation for service not the restaurant to dictate the tip or effectively raise their prices. by 20%. The food was average. Our appetizer of Grouper bites was bready and overcooked. Both of our Sea Bass entrees were overcooked and dry. One entree had a significant more sauce than the other. The vegetables were great. Service was average as well. Our water glasses were empty a couple of times. Food delivery time was reasonable. Overall, it was not a good experience on a special day for us. We have no plans to go back.

   We were seated outside, it was loud due to a private party, however we had a really nice time. The food was delicious, grouper bites, mushroom pizza, Caesar salad, onion rings. The onion rings were very cold unfortunately. The new decor is beautiful!

   If you sit outside be prepared for construction noise from across the water at the Ritz Carlton residences being built. I had the watermelon and shrimp special salad today. It was a giant slice of watermelon with a bed of greens and dicesdfeta on top with balsamic. It was very difficult to eat and the balsamic was everywhere. Dont order that. We sat to the side as you walk outside and the chairs were super uncomfortable. Try sitting inside or on the balcony with cushioned chairs. My friend and I sat down there as a two top. We had not seen eachother in months and wanted to catch up. Next thing we know we have a table of screaming kids running all over next to us. Hostess needs to do better. Prob won't go back anytime soon. Dont recommend.

   My wife and I were greeted and seated right away by Nicole. She picked a nice table on the deck with a beautiful view. Nicole was wonderful! Our server, Charlie, was equally personable. He was efficient and took the time to chat with us. We tried the Lobster Guacamole and the Lobster Rolls. Both were delicious! We look forward to the Tiki bar opening soon and coming back to dine. Thanks for an enjoyable experience!
