   We have eaten at this restaurant once before while in the area and we loved it. We ate tonight and the experience was not nearly as good. Although the food was very good ( not great ) we did enjoy it. However, the service was terrible! We were seated and brought water. We ordered soft drinks and they arrived promptly. However, even though our food was brought- our drinks were never refilled and I was not even brought a knife to cut my steak until I was over halfway done and flagged down some other server. I thought for the price of the meal the service was pretty lousy. I will definitely eat here again because the food is good, the restaurant is lovely, the view is fantastic, and I did have an excellent experience once before. However, they really need to hire more servers !

   As always, the food and drinks were excellent and the service was exceptional. Our server was great.

   We visit every time we come to Newport. The view is amazing. The food is delicious. It is a popular restaurant so make reservations and know it will be crowded.

   Our experience at the Coast Guard house is always wonderful! It's nice to hear options of specials as we feel the menu has been the very same for quite some time. I would only suggest to maybe swap some different items on the menu to new ones and switch it up a bit.

   Disappointed because I made this reservation for my anniversary over a month ago and we were stuck in a corner table next to the wall and the kitchen with people going in and out. We asked to move and they moved us one table over. I specified an ocean view in the reservation. Very disappointing
