El restaurante Bella Monica Cucina & Vino es una trattoria de propiedad familiar que elabora recetas heredadas de los abuelos. Su menú incluye platillos napolitanos tales como las pizzas gourmet de masa fina, llamadas Flatbreads, pastas, mariscos, pollo, cerdo local y platillos de carne de res. El restaurante prepara una salsa de tomate igual a la de Nana. ¡La salsa es tan sabrosa que muchas veces se toma como una sopa! ¡Sin lugar a dudas, se sirve el mejor cannoli (masa enrollada en forma de tubo rellena de queso ricota) que jamás se pueda probar!     Let us bring our homemade Italian food to you at your home, office or special event venue. Catering from 10-100 people. Available for staffed, non-staffed, pick up or delivery events. Sundays at our Nana’s house were special. They began when we entered Nana’s house and the smell of the ‘gravy’ simmering on the stove would greet us at the door. Nana would fly out of the kitchen to pinch our cheeks, give us hugs, and lead us to the table full of food saying “mangia, mangia”. Sundays with Nana were days where everything seemed to stop for family and friends; everything except for pasta. Aunts, uncles and cousins would trickle into Nana’s home throughout the day to take their places at the table. The day never seemed to end. We would sit for hours sharing food and laughter with one another. Though the day would begin and end with food, the time spent with our family really made those days special. It is our hope and passion to recreate those long, special Sundays at Nana’s table.

    I love this restaurant and have always had a great, overall experience. This experience wasn't' as good. The server wasn't very friendly and charged us for a different bottle of wine that was more expensive. We inquired but he said we had had a different one. In addition, the food seemed a bit off. The chicken parm was drenched in sauce that tasted like a can of tomatoes with no Italian seasoning. I think if the experience with the server had been better, I probably wouldn't have submitted a review. Perhaps it was just an off evening. All of the other staff was wonderful, as usual.

    This team was awesome during our recent lunch. Food was amazing and the service was wonderful. I will definitely recommend this place to others!

    Best Italian food in the area in my opinion! Extensive wine list, though I wish there were more option by the glass. Friendly staff and nice casual vibe.

    We really enjoyed our family dinner here. Definitely recommend making reservations as we did. Were shown right to our table. We had an appetizer, wine, main courses and dessert. Everything was very tasty. Our server was very good at her job. I had the shrimp pasta and it was very good. My son had the eggplant rollitini and I had a bite and it was excellent. Had not been here in a quite a while because it's not close to my home but I would go back!

    We had a 7:45 reservation for 3 and we sat outside on the covered patio. Our server was delightful, and everything we ate was top-notch, from the delicious and complimentary focaccia bread, to my delightful pear/gorgonzola salad, to an excellent calzone, a huge plate of chicken parmesan, a creative pasta dish with pine nuts, and our fabulous flourless chocolate cake. Even though I live 100's of miles from Raleigh, I will make it a point to return to Bella Monica when I am in town.
