Service was excellent, including the table-side Caesar salad. Both fish entrees were cooked perfectly; the crab topping was a bit salty, which knocked the overall food score down from "Excellent" to "Very Good". The wine selection was very good as well. Overall, a very nice meal and we will be back.

Delicious food served by expert staff. Wait staff are often overlooked but there is a distinct difference between someone with a server job and someone who makes a career of it in high end establishments. Additionally my wife said the lobster (which also had shrimp in the shell) was the best she ever had.

We had a great waiter and the Caesar salad and bread were exceptional, however everything else left much to be desired. We had escargot but the same dishes at Oyster Rock and Perrones are ten times better. The steak was flavorless and while the fish was tasty it was nearly overcooked. You aren’t given a steak knife because they say you should be able to use a butter knife. Not really the case. The loud reverb from the piano next door takes away from the quiet relaxing atmosphere you think you’re going to have. The aesthetic is no where near as upscale as the original location. Our steak was removed from the bill and we recieved a complementary bananas foster which was delicious.

Nice fine dining experience here…..table side preparations are engaging and provides a really nice hot to table entrees and desserts. I had the Steak Poivre and my wife had the Halibut. Both were delicious. Service is top shelf here and you get a great explanation of all entrees and specials.

This was our first visit to The Library. We were so impressed with our whole experience. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. Our waiter, Bobby Hill, was delightful. We will definitely be dining again at The Library during our next visit to Myrtle Beach.

Nice ambience. We were the only patrons at 5:15 pm on a Tuesday evening. Food was well prepared. Portions are adequate—albeit small for a hearty appetite. Our waiter was new (inexperienced). He was nervous but endearing. Expensive. Save for a special occasion.

First time at the library but certainly won’t be the last. Came for my wife’s birthday and was better than we expected. Very cosy atmosphere and well decorated. The service and food was exceptional. My wife had the special halibut with crab and I had the duck au l’Orange after starting with the escargot. The escargot was better than any we had on our recent month long trip to France. Both entrees were delicious and service was fast. Ended the meal with the Bananas Foster made table side. We are planning to come back in a month for my birthday dinner.

Micheal provided the best service I have ever received and I’ve been in the industry for 20 years. By far the best dining I’ve experienced.
