Steakhouse 85 is a 21st century rendition of the classic American Steakhouse. The menu at Steakhouse 85 is comprised of fresh and inspiring modern day interpretations of classic American cuisine, served alongside the traditional steakhouse classics we all know and love. The back bone of our menu is without a doubt our beef. Our mouth watering dry aged steaks are rubbed with a simple yet luscious combination of sea salt, black pepper and fresh herbs. They are seared on a 1200 degree cast iron grill and then broiled to your liking. Paired with a large classically designed bar, complete with savvy cocktails and a Wine Spectator award winning wine list, this steakhouse is sure to please.

The service was very poor last night. The waitress was rude and not helpful Had snarky responses to questions. Filet mignon was good. Crab cakes not great. Very mushy Ordered filet mignon Oscar style Ordered a couple sides including asparagus -waitress neglected to tell us that asparagus comes with Oscar style So that was wasted food and money. When asking for recs on drink with dinner she was very rude about it. The food was not worth the cost. We will not be going back

Place is really elegant. Food was good but for the price it should have been excellent. Server and staff are outstanding and were there for anything you needed!

We received a generous gift certificate, which we happily put to good use (and then some!). I want to start by saying that neither the pricing nor the overall quality of the food was an issue. However, when dining at a restaurant of this caliber, which we do fairly often, I expect exceptional service, particularly from our server. The supporting staff were wonderful! Those who refilled our water, replaced utensils, and cleared plates were attentive and efficient. Unfortunately, the service from our primary server did not meet the same standard. We ordered two alcoholic beverages, shared a salad, and enjoyed a steak, Chilean sea bass, and two desserts. The portions were generous, the scalloped potatoes were excellent, and the steak was flavorful. My husband enjoyed his sea bass, although the flavor wasn't quite to my personal taste. The biggest disappointment came at the end of our meal with dessert, particularly the Bananas Foster. As someone who loves this dessert, I was really looking forward to it. Traditionally, Bananas Foster features a rich, buttery sauce with rum flavoring. What I received was essentially heated bananas with a scoop of ice cream. It entirely lacked the sauce and flavor that make this dessert so special. The apple tart my husband ordered, again came with the tasty scoop of vanilla ice cream but the tart was not a cripy crust. It was chewy as if thrown in a microwave to serve heated. Normally, I would have mentioned my disappointment and give the restaurant an opportunity to make it right. However I was ready to leave. Overall, there were certainly some highlights, especially the generous portions, delicious scalloped potatoes, and attentive supporting staff. Unfortunately, the service and disappointing finish left us feeling that what should have been a memorable dining experience was simply mediocre. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected more. You will see reviews I have left at o, we truly appreciate quality food and service.

Food was amazing, service also very good. The prices though, are VERY high for an a-la-cart menu. This wasn’t a special occasion dinner either. For three people it was almost $400.00 with tip included. That’s nuts!!!
