In an attempt to honor the history of our beautiful building, the third Melon Bank ever built, we pay homage to its past! We chose period correct lighting and finishes from 1940 to bring it all together!

Della Terra which translates to “of the earth” transforms the essence of a small town eatery. Centrally located in historic downtown Zelienople, our goal is to capture the warmth and comfort of an Italian trattoria.  Chefs reinterprets the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that pulls inspiration from the Italian cooking tradition to create meaningful food, celebrating the restaurant’s ongoing relationship with its local family of farmers and suppliers.

    Food was great, Margarita Pizza was excellent. Service and vibe was wonderful. Servings could have been a little larger.

    Food is delicious and service was attentive as always. Every option on the menu makes it hard to choose just one. Sat in the upstairs balcony this time. It’s a quieter , darker setting than the main floor - so good for either a big family/group reservation for the entire space or one-on-one conversations. Presence of other diners and related hustle and bustle are on the main floor.

    We liked it so much it was our second time in a month. The garlic bread and fried artichokes are amazing. We have had a different pasta dish each time we were there. The pasta was exceptional (ravioli and the gnocchi. The service was amazing. Definitely one of my new favorites. I drive 45 minutes because the food is so good!!!

    Fantastic as always! Thanks to Amy for being an awesome waitress. I hope we get her next time. Also great pick for the house red, everyone at the table LOVED it!

    The noise level was off the charts. The caesar salad was drowned in dressing. The arugula and prosciutto pizza was dry and boring. The desserts were very small. Disappointing meal.

    We have had varying experiences through the years at DT but they have mostly been positive. Unfortunately we brought our friends with us tonight for their first visit and no one really enjoyed their food. Also, the service was the slowest, least attentive and friendly it’s ever been. Such a bummer - I doubt they will want to visit again.

    My wife and I have been to Della Terra over 10 times in the past few years, and we are continually blown away by the quality of the food and service here. Their root vegetable carpaccio is one of the best salads I have ever had. Their pizzas are incredible, and their homemade pastas are to die for. I ordered their porchetta last night with pureed parsnip and braised red cabbage, and it was one of the best entrees I've had in a long time. Would highly recommend!
