North Carolina chef and restaurateur, Jim Noble founded Rooster’s: A Noble Grille with the intention of being relevant without being trendy and to impress without being pretentious. That commitment has carried us through two decades and continues to lead us on today.

Knowing that simple food is harder to execute given there is nowhere to hide the flaws, we go to great lengths to source quality ingredients from local farmers and purveyors. We then take all the time necessary to develop their flavors —using both European and modern techniques—always working from scratch.

Our menu features tried and true staples like our spit­-roasted chicken cooked over open fire as well as progressive daily​ specials and elevated Small Plates featuring Executive Chef Brad Pennell. At Rooster’s, you’ll always find something new served with an honest commitment and consistently warm care.

    Food was awesome. Took them 20-30 minutes before waiter acknowledged our table. Not servers fault. Managers fault on assigning tables.

    Scallops were not warm and had a very weak sear. Couscous tasted like nail polish remover; pear flavor is VERY artificial tasting. Hangar steak cooked pretty well but sauce had artificial flavor. Best part of the dinner was the beets. It was the only warm thing presented. Over priced.

    The service and the food was amazing. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The food was hot and tasted great. The drinks from the bar was delicious. I will definitely be returning soon and I recommend you try them.

    Amazing date night with a Pittsburgh ribeye for the win 🤤. The waiter was attentive and social with lots of knowledge of the food and his recommendations, on point!

    We have been to Rooster's for lunch often. This is the first time parking was a real problem. I'm told it is because the bakery next door brings in so much additional traffic. Our server was very good today, as was the food. My main complaint is that one of my friends wanted to substitute the side dishes. It cost her $6 to get mac & cheese instead of potatoes and collards instead of spinach. I don't understand charging for substituted sides of equal value, seems like a lot of nickel 'n diming going on.

    We love roosters, the food and service are always great. The environment is a little harsh with concrete floor and dark walls. These make for a lighting environment that is harsh and a tinny sound environment.
