From the OpenTable editors: When James Beard-nominated chef James Trees opened Esther’s Kitchen in 2018, he helped put the Arts District on the city’s culinary map. Now in a stylish new space with an open kitchen and whimsical animal wallpaper, the refined Italian spot still turns out the same wood-fired sourdough pizzas and knockout pastas (get the rigatoni carbonara with snap peas) that made it an instant Vegas classic.

    Not sure what the fuss is all about with this place. Sevice was bad and food was worse. Not worth our time. We were visiting from out of town. Definitely will not be back to this place.

    Our party had high expectations for a delicious Italian meal. This food was kin to cafeteria food with fancy names to make ordering complicated for the customer. The bread was the best part of the meal.

    The food is always consistently great! Penelope the bartender gave excellent service and was very helpful and know with the drinks and menu. James Trees the chef is the best in LV.

    I really don’t understand the hype of this place. The food was mediocre at best. Our server, Alex was very nice & very knowledgeable to explain the menu. They didn’t even add a luxardo cherry to our old fashioned drink. I’ve heard the bread is so good, maybe it was an off day, but the bread was old & stale. I’ll definitely give them another shot, I think it could have been an off day for them. We all have them.
