   We keep saying we have to try other items on the menu, yet somehow we always go for the Tomahawk Tuesday meal. Excellent salads (Fleming and Ceasar;s), sides (mashed potatoes and creamed spinach), desserts (cheesecake and chocolate lava). Delicious and plentiful so we always end up with a bag of leftovers, which when finished makes us crave for the next time! Servers and wait staff were efficient, courteous and knowledgeable.

   Our server Zack was awesome. Food was meh. The steak was coated with pepper which to me tasted terrible! Huge garlic cloves with the mushrooms which did not enhance the flavor. A little au jus would have been nice. Not worth the money.

   (The location is in Walnut Creek, CA). This was an absolutely inexcusable poor experience for a high-end restaurant! Starting off, the entrance is through a small door in the parking garage of a mall!. We were celebrating my birthday with 5 people. The service was extremely poor by both our server and the wait staff. I had to ask three times for any thing. From the beginning, it was so frustrating that we were thinking of leaving and going to Ruth's Chris. The beer was warm, and we didn't get the bread until right before the food was being served, even though other tables were getting it tight away. I had to talk to the manager to request a different server. Although the new server tried to do his best, the service remained totally disorganized. I was so angry that I canceled my entrée. When the food was served, the side dishes did not show up for several minutes later. Two of the four dishes were not even ours. One dish was made incorrectly. Another dish never showed up until the end of the meal. Apparently, the first server never put the order in. As for the food, the filet was chewy and had no flavor. The rib eye was very good. Of the three sides, the brussel sprouts and potato were very good, but the creamed spinach looked and tasted like green soup. All three desserts were excellent. It took a long time to get our coffee. When we reviewed the bill, there were both items we should not have been charged for (the canceled entree) and items we should have been charged for. We then received the correct bill, and we paid and left. I have been to many steak houses around the country for both business and pleasure, and this is the worst experience by far. I will definitely never eat at a Fleming's restaurant again!

   We have the best time at Fleming’s. We celebrated our Dad’s 65th birthday. It was his first time in and he can’t wait to come back. My husband and I have been a few times prior which was why we wanted to bring our family. This visit was by far one of the best. The care put into making Dad feel special meant the world and everyone was wonderful. The food was delicious and every steak was cooked perfect. We cannot thank the lovely team at Flemings enough for making our evening so lovely!

   Noisier than an In and Out Burger at noon. Otherwise great meal and service. We did not stay for dessert due to the noise level.

    I would have rated this particular dining experience a "5," but the beginning of my dining experience was less to be desired, ergo a "4." Not sure if Fleming's has record of people that dines often at their establishment. Well, I think I can say that I am. In the last 7 or so years, I have dined there more than plenty of times - I've had group gatherings (in the Sonoma room) a number of times for my two boys' birthdays these past few years and have had my law firm's party in 2023 and this past January. If Flemings has records of the above, it would have nice to be treated the respect and courtesy and being a frequent dining customer. Don't get me wrong, everything else (after we got seated) went as well as it could be and what I normally expect from my previous dining experience there. But I think it's important for me to mention the beginning of that night. In any event, when Gabby called earlier that day and confirmed my reservation, I specifically requested Nicole or Victor to assist us that evening - Nicole assisted us when we dined there New Year's Eve; Victor assisted us when we had our company event in January. She told me that she could not guarantee Nicole to assist us, which was bizarre to me (in itself). When my two sons and I got there and checked in with the hostess, she told me that we would need to wait about 30 mins if we wanted to in Nicole's section. I reluctantly said yes, but eventually opted to be seated right away since there were 2 empty booths available and we were hungry. After Zach got drink orders, Nicole suddenly shows up and said that she will be assisting from them on, and the night went well after. My question is - why didn't the hostess think of talking to the manager and explaining the situation beforehand, instead of us waiting for a good 15 min. and give us Nicole afterall, souring the beginning of our dining experience? I just thought that was so unnecessary.
