   Thank you to Roland who was an excellent and attentive server. We had a mix of salads, appetizers, and a special meal, and everything was, as it always is, absolutely perfect. Thank you so much!

   This is as genuine a Paris bistro experince as you will find in the U.S. I always dine there when traveling to Boston. A real treat in every respect.

   Attended Easter brunch. All around excellent. We were a group of 9 and dined in a semi private area. Sommelier was helpful and attentive. Beautiful views of the public gardens. Highly recommend.

   So sorry to rate 1 star. The service was great. the food was far from refined, for 90 dollars per person for an Easter brunch I expect more than a wholesale sandwich with a poached egg and a bunch of dressed lettuce. The asparagus soup was good, hence the star. The dessert was heavy and overly sweet, no refinement here either. Within the hour the bill was slammed on the table without us asking for it. I hope the owners give some of the exorbitant income per table to the wait staff. I hoped for more because of the good reviews. Maybe it was because of Easter. Marathon weekend. Or whatever, it was not ok.

   Had reserved in the downstairs bistro for our 16th anniversary. Had to wait for table at the time of our reservation. Of all the places we visited on our anniversary, only Bisro du Midi did nothing to celebrate this milestone in a relationship -- very poor form. Food was mediocre. Service was lackluster. TV screens don't belong at a venue with this price point. All show, little substance. Too bad for such a lovely location alongside the charming Boston Common in spring bloom.

   They could not have been more helpfully. The table, waitstaff and the food were above what we expected. We will return many times.

   Had a great birthday celebration, food and service was again outstanding. Can’t say enough about the whole experience. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Wonderful experience. The portions are enormous. The food was delicious. The service was a bit slow.
