"Mammoths & saber-tooth tigers once roamed these lands in search of their rich salts. Paleo-Indians hunted, farmed and raised families here because of the salt springs. Early settlers named their town Saline after the salt springs, and now in this stunning +120 year-old former church, so does this brewery.

Salt Springs Brewery offers lovingly crafted & locally sourced food, true-to-style ales, wine, cider, and craft cocktails. Located in the heart of Saline, complete with an outdoor Biergarten and main dining room filled with the original stained from 1899, Salt Springs Brewery will quench your thirst and nourish your soul."

I'm pretty disappointed with our experience here. The service was terrible, and the food was mid at best. My friend couldn't finish her chicken because it was all gristle and fat. My fries were *clearly* old. A totally different visit from our first.

We attended our 2nd pairing dinner at Salt Springs and just like the first one, it was AWESOME! The enthusiasm of chef Loren, the knowledge of the brewers and team and the delicious food and drinks were everything we love in this sort of experience. The taste of Europe menu was delicious, and the fact that it wasn’t just beer pairings was really fun. We’re looking forward to the next time we’re able to attend one, and in the meantime we’ll make some stops at the brewery as often as possible!

Excellent setting and great food and service. Lots of choices for both food and beer. Cocktails were also well made.

We made a reservation for 1:00 on a Saturday. I was so looking forward to the GF fish and chips. When we got there we were told it was just a brunch menu which had much less GF options. I knew they were serving brunch, but assumed it was in addition to the regular menu. The waitress and manager had nothing other than “I’m sorry” to say. I know there is nothing they could have done but even the apology was not genuine. I would recommend you make it very clear that there is a very different menu. We drove very far and were very disappointed. Our food was ok- definitely not worth how much it cost

Salt was off their game. Service was extremely slow. Appetizer came, dinner came, no napkins or silverware. Had to go to the hostess stand to get some. Waitress seemed overwhelmed. Broccoli that came with Korean BBQ short ribs was way over cooked, somewhat burnt. Cashmere Zeppelin was spot on as usual though. Always an A+ there.

Service was spot on - food well prepared and served quickly. Their beer flights are a bargain and an interesting way to try out different brews. Only down side was they don't have an espresso machine and we sure could have used a double before driving home!
