   The family and I went for Easter Brunch and it was magical. The food and service were outstanding and all the extras add up to a wonderful family event.

   Easter Brunch at Rita’s Cantina – A Tradition Done Right: As an Arizona native who has been coming to Camelback Inn since childhood, this place holds a special kind of magic for me. It reminds me of Easter mornings with my family and the peaceful beauty of my grandfather’s ranch in southeastern Arizona. This year’s Easter Brunch at Rita’s Cantina brought all of that back—and then some. Set against the stunning Camelback Mountain, Rita’s laid out a brunch that was nothing short of spectacular. Multiple carving stations featured suckling pig, prime rib, roasted lamb, and sea bass—each prepared to perfection. The variety was impressive, the quality was outstanding, and the flavors were rich, fresh, and deeply satisfying. The real standout, though, was the outstanding hospitality. Eric Duchene, the Director of Food & Beverage, ran the show with warmth and precision, while Holden, Jesus, and Ethan made sure we felt completely taken care of from the moment we sat down. Their kindness and attention to detail turned a great meal into a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend not only Rita’s Cantina, but the entire Camelback Inn resort. The setting, the service, the sense of place—it’s no wonder Bill Marriott spends his birthday here. It’s a slice of Arizona at its very best, and I can’t wait to return.

   We’ve been coming here for Easter for the past 18+ years. This was the first year we were told by a manager that we had “25 minutes left on our table” before we were expected to leave. We were just about to have dessert and were expecting our check anyway. It felt like a really poor way to treat guests who had just spent $600+ on a meal. There has got to be a more professional way to turn tables. Telling guests they have 25 minutes left before they’re expected to leave is completely inappropriate. That conversation should be had if a party has overstayed, absolutely, but completely uncalled for otherwise. We may not be back based on this experience, everyone in the party was put off by this intrusion. Especially when we were waiting on the server for our check when it happened. Food was great as always, service was as well, policy enforcement was unprofessional and may result in us not returning next year.

   This hostess was very rude when we asked to be seated indoors, as there were no heaters by our outside table. She lead us to a table right by the door to the outside and a service bar. At that point, we decided to got to the bar. That was enough to decide we would not be back. Our group lives in AZ. I sure hope the out of town guests received a host or hostess with a friendlier disposition.

   We dine here often but the service and dining experience was disappointing this evening and has gradually declined over the past year. The staff seems untrained and over burden.

   The servers and bartenders work well together to make sure customers are happy. Menu has some nice, creative and tasty dishes.

    Exceptional service from the hostess and the server! Hats off to the chef for thh by excellent quality and tastes of the Southwest along with a classical world guitarist to entertain us on Palm Sunday…..it just doesn’t get any better
