   Had a blast bringing my wife for her birthday. She throughly enjoyed the dining experience. Our chef was one the best we’ve experienced! The two tables had 3 birthdays going on so it was quite the experience. Will be back again

   The food and service was great. Our only complaint was we were seated with a family with 2 children. One of the children kept letting out a loud shriek whenever she did not get her own way. Really ruined our evening. Next time we will request an adults only cooking table. Hate to spend that much money on dinner and feel like you are a kiddie pizza place.

   For the pricetag and hype, I/we had higher hopes. We were celebrating a special occasion; noted on our reservation. We were seated in a “mixed” crowd of crazies, kids, and families, and there was no “special” about it. Chef was “meh”, service was “meh”, and overall vibe was “meh”… then we paid a bunch of money… got a wrong check, and left with a 2 pack of cheap “made in china” stickered chopsticks. I guess we had higher expectations due to the hype of this place and the expense… our mistake. It felt very “McDonaldsy”. Was expecting a more private, grown-up, “anniversary”-special dinner.

   Our family gathers from long and far to meet and enjoy the experience of Mikado! The food is great, just be prepared for a very loud and expensive experience!
