   Everything was solid except for the front desk refusing to seat our party because she said the main dinning room was booked even though half the tables were empty . She offered us a table in the bar which was not acceptable! We had reservations and a special note about a seating request It took a floor manager over hearing our disappointment to intervene & seat us in an acceptable table to suit our needs in the main dinning room Not impressed with the hostess

   We were there for Easter. We were seated in a timely manner. The server did a very nice job with the pacing of the meal. Really enjoyed the crab cakes.

   My family had a wonderful Easter brunch. The service was terrific and the food was great - very reasonably priced.

   Service was excellent. Food was good. We enjoyed our main dishes. A bit too saucy, but good.

   Entrees were moderately sized. We had the Beet Salad as an appetizer, which was a good accompaniment for the meal. CrabCake Benedict was a hit, as was the Cedar plank Salmon and the Whitefish.

   The food was fresh and flavored but flavors were over done. Too much lime on my tuna. Tuna was not seared to a crust but only poached. Calamari was bland. I will not return for the food. It took 75 minutes to get dinner after the appetizer. Waiter was nice but disappeared at times

    Catch 35 has long been our favorite restaurant in the Chicago suburbs. Our dinner on April 17, in celebration of my husband’s birthday, was fabulous. To start, we split a Caesar salad, which is always good. (The shrimp bisque soup is good, too, but I didn’t have it that night.) We then both ordered, as our entree, the fresh halibut, which was one of the specials. It was perfectly prepared on a bed of cauliflower au gratin. Both were delicious. The halibut simply melted in your mouth, as the saying goes. The crusty bread served with the meal is always good, too. For dessert, Catch 35 kindly provided my husband with a free dessert, for his birthday. He chose the chocolate lava cake (okay, he ALWAYS chooses the chocolate lava cake!). I personally might select the key lime pie, crème brûlée, or the cheesecake (which varies; tonight it was caramel toffee), but I ended up sharing the lava cake, which, admittedly, is a star dessert - beautifully presented with white and red sauces - I think there were hazelnut and raspberry - with molten fudge sauce flowing down a mountain of cake. It was all excellent! We highly recommend Catch 35!
