   LOVELY place for an evening meal,good service. My Fillet Mignon was good,though I ordered it Medium,it came out more on the well side. My husband had the seafood platter,a bit small portion,but he said it was good. No salads were included with our meal,which was a bit odd concidering mine was $35 & Davids was $32,oh well.......Yes,we will go again.

   Overall all the food was delicious. When it was time to go and I needed a to go box for my soup the waiter stated that they don't have to go boxes for the soup. This is weird since you can order take out. I ended up just leaving it and had it removed from my bill since I couldn't leave with it. I think he was just to lazy to look for a container because at one point he mentioned that he was stressed out.

   We went to Fireside Chophouse after a concert and got seated right away (earlier than our reservations). The restaurant looked old and tired inside but might have had a better ambiance if the fireplace was on. Our waiter took our drink order right away and our appetizer came out quickly. The food arrived quickly too but it was cold. Everyone's food was cold. We all got, what was advertised as red skin mashed potatoes; however that was not true. They appeared and tasted like instant potatoes. The tiny portion of vegetables, 2 small slices of zucchini,squash, and carrots were also cold. The prime rib was overcooked and tough. Overall, a very big disappointment for our yearly special night out. Would not recommend .

   To be honest, I was somewhat surprised how easily we got a table for a party of 6. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with guests. Most of the high quality places in Williamsburg were booked due to the Grand Illumination. We were a little concerned having only read the website. We needn't have worried. The restaurant was clean with an upscale look, up to and including table settings. Florence, our server, was fantastic. The prices were exceptional. Extremely reasonable across the board, including the drinks. Now, the most important part: the food. I had the seafood combo which consisted of a crab cake, broiled scallops, broiled flounder and broiled shrimp. Included were potatoes and vegetables. Everything was exquisite. My wife's Delmonico steak was melt in your mouth tender. I can't attest to the quality of the other's food except to say that everybody gave the experience a 5, except for one person who gave it a four. My hope for this fine restaurant is that it soon is so busy that it may be hard to get reservations the next time we go there.

   Wonderful birthday dinner. The food was outstanding and our waiter was the best.

   Good quality wasnt the best. Steaks were low quality, potatoes not fresh.

   Not crowded when we visited. Prompt and attentive service. Food was cooked well. Warm rolls were nice to start. Good selection of proteins.

   Great food and very helpful, nice staff. Had their prime rib which was great. Will visit again on next trip up.

   The onion straw appetizer was tasty, but I would recommend staying away from ordering the steaks. Ours had a funny flavor and were quite tough. The burgers looked good on another table.

    Staff seemed rushed even though there were plenty of wait staff. I asked if there was a bar- waiter said yes but when I asked for a martini, he looked surprised and that was it-no martini!
