   The food was excellent - crab cake on a salad, raw bar, homemade bread. Server was very attentive and kind. The cocktails weren’t excellent, but good. Very lively band was playing just outside bar area. so if you want to have a productive conversation dont sit in the bar area when they have live music.

   We read the menu on the way there and couldn’t wait to order a bunch of the items. They have great ideas but unfortunately, not great execution. We got an oyster soup, the “oyster pan roast”, that really tasted as if it was tomato soup from a can. One of the oysters had a very unwelcome creamy inside. The ahi tuna crisps were pretty good but just not quite what we were expecting. Its more of a nacho situation complete with lettuce. The look of the crab cake is not appetizing but was probably the best thing we ate.

   Food at Banks is always excellent! The gracious hostess, Jada greets us so warmly. Professional wait staff never miss a beat. They know the menu, the service is attentive but not intrusive. It’s our favorite place to dine and celebrate.

   Always excellent food and service. The halibut was outstanding. My husband’s crab cakes were filled lumps of crab. Our server, Patrick, was polite, accommodating and just all around excellent.

   Everything was absolutely delicious, and our server was very personable and knowledgeable. I have a food allergy, and she was great with suggestions and knowledge of cross contamination.

   Pretty Good For Wilmington! I've been to Banks several times and have always come away pleased. This visit was for my birthday and the dozen oysters, Stone Crab appetizer, Soft Shell Crabs and Seafood Cioppino were all tasty. My only criticism is that the cioppino seemed to skimp on the amount of shellfish, but the broth was worth getting extra bread and a soup spoon for! I have other favorite seafood and oyster houses in Philly, but for Wilmington, Delaware---which is closer to where the girlfriend lives---Banks is worthwhile!

   Banks is definitely worth the trip. We live to stop on the way home from Delaware Park. The oysters are fresh and tasty. I love the crabcake salad. The crabcake is full of crabmeat and makes the salad a meal. The gelato is pretty good too.

    Wonderful food with generous portions and attentive service. We had a variety of seafood dishes and everything was fresh and delicious. The crème brûlée was outstanding as well. I huge plus was that it is quiet enough to hear your companions! A truly enjoyable experience
