   This is our "go to" restaurant for all family events. We just held my son's 21st birthday last night. The food is phenomenal -no matter what you order! Pizza, Chicken Parm, Meatballs, Baked Clams etc. The service is as amazing as the food. We order take out from here at least once a week & all of our parties have been catered from here for the last 10 years. Dietary concerns are taken seriously and as a celiac, I am well cared for with their GF pasta and pizza options. (Best GF pizza I have tasted!!) Highly recommend this restaurant!

   Palermo’s is a charming, quiet Italian restaurant near Astoria Park with great service, exquisite atmosphere, and brick oven pizza that will have you coming back for more!

   Yesterday evening my wife and I with our two kids attempted to visit Palermo. We often order in from there . As we approached the front door with our stroller the manager came out to stop us with her hand and asked quite rudely if we had reservations. There was no one in the restaurant. They outright discriminated against us for being two moms with kids. I will never order from them again and I hope you don't go there either. This is a tight neighborhood and this was disgusting hateful behavior toward mom's and the gay community that often frequents restaurants in Astoria.

   In summary: "very nice". Good food, ambiance and service. Palermo is spotlessly clean and very nicely laid out, even having outdoors dining. And, an extra for those of us without cars, a few steps from a Q69 bus stop!

   I was a bit disappointed overall. The restaurant is lovely, nice outdoor space as well as pretty indoors; large and quite spacious. My food was fair at best. The eggplant parm was so overly breaded and thickly fried that it was impossible to taste the eggplant. I asked if it was thin sliced before ordering and I was told yes. It was not thin at all. We would not go back.

   Food was excellent both times I was there for very reasonable prices its a great find that I will be returning to when in the neighborhood for sure

   My boyfriend and I enjoyed the food 100% but our food took over a hour to come out the kitchen. When we was seated it took our server over 15 minutes to greet us. I would definitely go again just a different server.

   Went for valentines date. Great food. Service was a little slow but that's expected on valentines. Definitely going to come back.

    Brought my family in after the holidays on Dec 26th to have dinner. Palermo has great traditional Italian food options. I got the cheese ravioli with pistachio sauce, which was fabulous. It's even better with the grilled chicken, which is super simple but very flavorful. Everyone else enjoyed their meals of baked ziti and rigatoni. I definitely recommend this place for great Italian food in Queens!
