   Food was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed my pork shank and my BF enjoyed the scrod. Service was just okay considering the restaurant was empty at 4:00pm. Once we got our food we didn’t see her (server) until it was time to pay for the check. Thankfully, another server saw us trying to find her and he took care of what we needed. Overall, we enjoyed the food and decor of the restaurant and will be back!

   We met family at The Student Prince for lunch on a Saturday. We were a party of 7 and the service was fantastic. The decor is interesting. The food was decent.

   I’ve had better there. Menu is dwindling and little that I wanted to eat. Disappointed that the Valentine’s or game menu was not available when we went. Service was great as usual.

   A bowl of delicious goulash with good bread, and the richest, most flavorful, robust coffee ever, make for a perfect and satisfying lunch on a budget! The food, as always, is outstanding. There are but a few (perhaps petty) reasons for not giving 5 stars across the board: 1. The bread rolls were really good, though serving them warm would make a very big and impressionable difference. There’s something comforting about butter melting into warm bread, so cold bread rolls are disappointing. It’s all about attention to detail. 2. The service was very good — but not exceptional. There was some waiting to get past that accounts for 4, not 5 stars. The Student Prince Prince offers unparalleled, authentic old world charm that is thankfully lovingly preserved. What a wonderful New England landmark! Thank you! Looking forward to another visit.

   When I called the restaurant prior to going, I was told that there would be a selection of game on the menu as there has been in many other February. That is, besides the new big game dinners that the restaurant hosts. There was only one item when we got there, a bison burger. Also, menu items that were featured on the website were very much out of date with what was actually being served at the restaurant.

    Always enjoy dinner at the Student Prince. Great German food and German Beer. Fun atmosphere too!
