The service was impeccable. Very gracious wait-staff - water glasses always full, helpful around dietary restrictions. The food was excellent - one issue is for a vegetarian/gluten-free customer, some of the options were no longer available so it made choices more limited. Also, super noisy but I guess that's the outcome of a well-loved restaurant.

The food was spectacular, amazing flavour combinations and pacing of service. Our server was fantastic, I am forgetful of her name but she has dark curly hair and glasses. We want to thank her for being such a great host, breaking down the sizes of the dishes and recommending how to approach the menu based on our interests. I’d also like to extend my thanks to the restaurant for the special birthday dessert for my partner, it was one of her favourite dishes of the night, so I’m very appreciative of you all for putting that together and making it a complimentary part of the meal. My partner had an amazing birthday thanks to the efforts of you all, we will be back!

A very good dinner indeed! Strangely noticing that patrons respect this venue by dressing casual elegant, the staff is less respectful of the clientele. If dressing down is the trend, taking it further down isn’t necessarily appropriate.

The food and ambience were fantastic. We sat at the bar and had a great view of the busy kitchen. Cocktails were excellent and bartender was super attentive but relaxed and did a great job throughout the dinner. The burger was delectable; the chopped salad was very good-although, I think it could be better without the chickpeas; the spare ribs cooked to perfection, very tender and flavorful; best plate of the night…the chickpea fritters-Amazing-don’t think just order them and enjoy

Eclectic assortment of dishes - no culture or food theme overall. If you are a person who does not like to share their food order with another person, then best not come here. Portions are generally much too big for one person to manage on their own if you wish to order several courses to experience the flavours. Nearly all dishes need to be shared by at least 2 persons.

FAQs

Portions are designed for sharing, many guests do tasting or “experience” menus or order several plates to share. The tasting menus are generally called generous and great value, though some individual a la carte items can feel small; half-portions are often available if you want to try more dishes without over-ordering.

The space is cozy and busy, so for family comfort ask for patio seating or an early time. For a quieter meal, aim for an early dinner (around the 5pm opening) on weekdays, many guests say early seatings are more relaxed. If you want the lively energy and full tasting-menu experience, Friday and Saturday evenings are when the room is busiest and most vibrant. Patio season is popular for outdoor dining on warm nights.
