   Very attentive service (although the restaurant was not full). Good drinks, great food, massive dessert. Expensive, but good.

   Nice atmosphere and very attentive staff. But the food has significantly dropped since I was here 5 years ago. Halibut was overcooked and had little taste. Chowder was bland with very little meat.

   I had a fabulous birthday dinner at Oceanaire on April 18th! The personalized card signed by the waitstaff at the end was such a thoughtful touch. Everyone in my party was thoroughly pleased with the entire experience — from the service to the food. I’ll definitely be back!

   Food was good. Took a long time for it to come. Not a lot of people there for a Thursday night. Steak was overcooked. Not a big deal but when you’re paying big bucks….

   What a treat! Food excellent.Service excellent. Decor excellent. It was for my birthday and the staff gave me a birthday card. Such a nice touch

   Generally, a good choice for seafood in Boston. Not too busy on a Friday night, I still felt a bit unattended. I was seated at one of the smaller tables near the bar, which meant that I couldn’t really view the dining room in total and I felt a little isolated as a result. In terms of the food, the shrimp and grits I had as a starter was fine, but certainly not the best I’ve ever had. It needed more spice and not enough gravy on the grits. The salmon entrée, which I ordered black and blue (blackened with blue cheese butter) was quite good. A little overly blackened, but still one of the best pieces of salmon I’ve ever had and perfectly cooked. Surprisingly there was no bread service. I thought this was unusual given the caliber of the restaurant. I liked the option of ordering the fish of your choice simply prepared as you like. The wine list was only OK. I would’ve thought for a higher end restaurant it would have been a bit more thoughtful. Close to both Faneuil Hall and the financial district.

   Outstanding. The restaurant is beautiful, in a restored bank building. The tables are very well spaced and the noise level quite low. The staff is friendly and professional. The food quality is great - we had various items from the dinner menu and they were each excellent.

   For the prices, some of the food was “fine” while others were very good (oysters, the Ramen). Main complaint is that the service was slow (though it was more than half empty on a Wednesday), some of the food (bisque) had been sitting around a while.

    Service wasn’t great, understaffed, we were being served by the bar tender which was unusual and had to keep asking for his attention as the bar was busy Food was very salty, we left a lot of food and didn’t want to take away in a box
