   First of all, highly recommend two logistical things, make a reservation on Open Table, and try to get the first reservation of the day, it was a relief to know we had a seat, there were 20 people in line 30 minutes before the restaurant opened. We went at lunch, I was a great experience, the wait staff was very attentive, especially the busboys/girls. Refilling our beverages, bringing to go boxes, no missteps here. I highly recommend the chicken wings, large, crisped to perfection with a delectable sauce. The French dip banh mi was superb. The crackle of the bread when you bit into it and the succulent brisket was delicious. There was ample dipping sauce too. We also ordered poached kanpachi. The curry rice was delicious. I was surprised that the Chinese celery salad was very bitter, that’s on me since I was not familiar with the ingredient. The poached kanpachi was very firm. Easy solution was to steal some wing sauce and drizzle on the fish. The dessert was a swirl of jasmine custard and peach topped with swoon worthy and delicious boba. This restaurant is definitely a must do!

   Our server was very knowledgeable and accommodating for our gutter who has celiac and went above and beyond to make sure we all had the best meal possible. Food was absolutely delicious. Never disappoints.

   Aloha, the P&L never fail to amaze me with chef Andrew’s delicious flavors, blending Vietnamese and Hawaii and a touch of French, yes! So ono. Every dish is thoughtfully created to please the palate. We come here a few times a year, that’s how wonderful the dishes are x great staff and mixologist too. Fun trendy decor, very hip! A staple on everyone’s to- visit list from afar, as each time we’re there I’m always surprised by the foodie tourist that know what to know. Enjoy!

   My wife and I have enjoyed lunch here twice before. This time we took our family of 10 including 2 young grandchildren. Everyone constantly raved over the food and unique flavours and declared it the best food of our holiday.

   Amazing lunch experience! The food far exceeded our expectations and we just recently visited Vietnam so it was definitely set high!! Can’t wait to return next Honolulu visit🤙🏽

   Good to be out of Waikiki and experience something non touristy. Authentic. But skip their craft cocktails.

    This is our go to spot in Honolulu for special occasions- the food and service are always outstanding. Food is innovative and tasty with a changing menu with the seasons. Sometimes ( as we did this time) we sit at the bar and watch and interaction with the chef staff. This time I had lamb and my husband had the papadelle which I have had in the past. The innovative soft serve ice cream was also delicious and came with a candle for my birthday. This is our special place to go and should not be missed.
