   We came from out of state and made reservations for the waterfront. This was our one special dinner out. When we arrived we were told they were overbooked and we had to eat inside, a dark bar type area with no ambience. The lobster tail was very rubbery. Everything else tasted like bar food. We all left very disappointed.

   Food was delicious from apps to dessert. Key lime pie was all that. Meals were good portions all fresh and tasted delicious. Can’t beat the ambience on the water. Service was great, staff friendly and accommodating. The only negative thing is they didn’t have decaf coffee 🤷🏼‍♀️

   This was a frustrating dining experience. Would we come back? Maybe, but there’s a few things we would change. We made a reservation but arrived about 30 minutes early. When we checked in we were told that we wouldn’t be sat until our reservation time but they would text us once ready. Not a big deal, we sat at the bar and had a drink. We waited until 10 after our reservation time to check in again. We were then informed that the restaurant was overbooked and we would need to wait another 15 minutes for our reservation time. We were specifically told that we shouldn’t have even been able to make reservations. I think if we had just been told this from the beginning, it would have been less frustrating. We waited for almost an hour after we arrived and 30 minutes after our reservation to even be seated. We had reservations after dinner that we almost missed and our experience had to be rushed. However, despite having so many reservations, walk-ins were sat before us; I understand trying to get appropriate groups into appropriate tables (4 people to a 4 top), but when you have a reservation who is waiting, sometimes you count your losses and seat them at a larger table. Finally, we got to our table sans any apology or acknowledgement from staff regarding the wait. Our server was great, and he helped turn the evening around. Drinks were okay, but overpriced for what you get. The food was also good but not great. I think it was too pricy for the taste. Overall, we would probably come in again, but there are far better restaurants in St Pete beach. I would recommend making the drive for assured quality and experience. However, once again, our server deserves all the accolades. He made up for the subpar experience and I think our review would be much lower without him.

   Our service was great, the server was wonderful. Unfortunately, I ordered the hot lobster roll and the lobster was completely overcooked rubbery and not edible. The black grilled shrimp bowl that we ordered was very good though. Beautiful setting.

   Excellent service! Sever was 5+ starts. The atmosphere was perfect at sunset. Got a great table due to our reservation. Food was good but smaller portions. Would go back!!!

   Took wife out for valentine’s date. Seating was terrible. Instead of a table overlooking the water and docks, we were seated right behind the hostess station with a view of the parking lot and street - NOT what I had envisioned for a rare night out on the town with the kids. Waiter was not knowledgeable about menu. We settled for the Valentine’s Day special. Drinks were mediocre at best and the food was not memorable. In fact, the surf and turf steak was overcooked and dry in spite of ordering it medium rare. Waiter did knock off both drinks to try to make up for the lackluster food. Super disappointed and will not be returning.

    Great Valentine’s Day dinner! Our server was very attentive making it a great experience.
