   Wonderful, attentive service. On the loud sound, but it was Saturday night and the restaurant was packed. Great food!

   Anchorage can do so much better. Simon & Seafort’s was a massively underwhelming experience. Easter dinner, $65 for a 3 course meal. Although fairly busy at 6:30 pm there were many open tables. The two Cabernet wines by the glass were sold out, only option was a bottle. Options for dessert, our pick was sold out. We all ordered the prime rib, medium rare, it was very very rare. The server was very busy, and was overwhelmed trying to clear plates, fill water, take orders, bring drinks. Unfortunately the whole experience was mediocre at best.

   The service was professional, timely and friendly. The food was fantastic! My wife and I always go to Simon & Seaforts for our anniversary. We have never been disappointed! Love going to Simon & Seaforts!

   Easter dinner, here for a good experience. Started off good but when my wife's prime rib was delivered, it was not good anymore. Your servers acknowledged the fact that it was cold and had probably been sitting out for a period of time.. It was not eye appealing, tough to cut and chew and cold. They returned with a new plate and a better cut of meat. My meal was now finished and my wife is now getting stated with hers. It made for a bad experience. The service was great. Could not have asked for better. Overall our expectations were ruined by the fact that meal was not as expected. This is not the first bad experience we have had at S & S. Don't really know where to go from here?

    We made reservations for around 1pm with the intention of eating brunch. Once we got there, we received only a dinner menu. When I asked about brunch, the server said she understood they stopped serving at 1pm, but would double check. She returned and said the manager told her they stopped serving brunch at 1pm on holidays. The website doesn't say about that; the only thing it says regarding brunch (on the brunch menu) is that it's served "every Sunday from 11-3" So the new cut off time was a surprise, but I also found it odd they would stop serving brunch early on Easter, as it's a very "brunchy" holiday. I found the dinner menu to be a little lacking in variety, but understand the appeal of the pick-3 course menu. We ordered the charcuterie app; two at the table ordered scallops, and the other two ordered prime rib. The scallops had been plated, and then hung out before being run, so things were on the cool side by the time it arrived. The prime rib was not trimmed before it was cut, and instead of having a thin later of fat included, had huge chunks of fat, far dwarfing the amount of actual meat, proportionally. The Ceasar dressing was bland, and it's a shame there is not cracked pepper available. Dessert was probably the best part of the meal, as all we shared: the cheesecake, key lime pie, torte, and crem brule were quite good--flavorful, well-plated, great textures. I do want to point out that our server was lovely and very attentive. All told, I was a bit disappointed with the experience as a whole. I've been eating at Simon's a long time and have spent many holidays there, and this was the most lackluster experience I've ever had. I'd think twice about going again any time soon, particularly on a holiday.
