Dining at Porteño is like eating at home with your family and friends-- good food cooked slowly with love to be enjoyed with beautiful wine.

For parties of 7 or more, please make the reservation by phone at (212) 695-9694.

Parties of 7 or more will be required to provide a Credit Card to keep in log for a NO SHOW fee (25$ per person)

Parties of 7 or more will be contact by the staff to confirm the reservation. In addition, they should be cancel 24hrs prior the date of the reservation. Otherwise a LATE CANCELATION fee would be charged (25$ per person)

Popped in this lovely little spot for dinner after a fundraiser on a Wednesday night. The space has character and although small there was only one other set of diners at that time. It was closing in an hour. Every single thing we ate was delicious. Truly delightful. Proper attention to food allergies was a plus. Service was friendly but not intrusive and we never felt rushed. Not even an hour after closing as we finished our coffee and dessert. 100% will return.

I travel NYC twice a year and I make sure to visit Porteno’s every visit. The food is consistently good. The service is great. The place has a family own and operated vibe. Just a very comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.

Porteno is hands down one of the hidden gems of Chelsea. The food is delicious and the owners are spectacular. If you have not yet dined at Porteno do it now. I promise you will not be disappointed.
