   They were still cleaning and mopping the floors at 12pm. This was on a Saturday. Food was good but the smell of chemicals and detergent and the ambience was horrible when we were eating.

   Such a great experience! Food was amazing, specialty drinks were great and the staff were friendly and welcoming! A must stop if in Boston!

   We’ve been to Hojoko a few times before and always have the best experience. In the past I’ve mostly had sushi and cocktails/sake, but this time at 8 months pregnant I tried their mocktails (delicious) and more from their entree/grilled food section. Everything was delicious, and the service was great. 10/10!

   This is about my fourth time at Hojoko. It's conveniently located near Fenway Park and MGM Fenway. It's a fun, buzzy vibe. Some of the cocktails are good as is some of the food. THe problem is that for pescatarians there just is a limited amount. Even some of their seafood dishes - like their shrimp friend rice - have meat in them. This time my husband and I had the brussels, the cauliflower, the mushroom ramen and the vegetarian wontons. The muchroom wontons and the vegetarian wontons were great (and that's even though I typically don't like fake meat which is what was in the wontons). The cauliflower was meh - it was "charred" but that meant that it wasn't cooked through. The brussels had good flavoring except they tasted a bit of mayo - which I hate - even though it was not listed on the ingredients. My cocktail - the bone kosho - was delish; much betterthan the pan daquiri I had a while ago. I likely won't be back other than to sit at the barunless they expand their menu.

    We traveled to Boston and dined at Hojoko this time last year and we couldn’t wait to return. Dining here the second time was just as fantastic as the first. Our server last year was Joe and we hoped he was still here. He is now a manager and the role is perfect for him. He is so engaging and funny and we were so impressed that he distinctly remembered us after one year. My mom and I loved the crispy spare ribs, charred cauliflower, and brussels sprouts. My brother had the chopped salad and he added a salmon filet. We will have the wagyu cheeseburger next time. I recommend this restaurant without reservation.
