Our relationships with our growers are intensive, hands-on endeavors in organic and sustainable farming, minimal yield loads, and harvesting at peak ripeness for the location. Ultimately, our winemaking practices reflect our efforts in the vineyard where minimal interference winemaking practices allow the wines to be made as naturally as possible before moving to final barrel aging and bottling.     Overall, I expected much better, Brunch for 4 - $700. Way overpriced for what it was. Then there were the little things like the mandatory 20% gratuity and an additional 3-4% for "back of house" fees. And then the charge of $6 dollars for a cranberry juice with ice. Meanwhile the others in my party received a complimentary mimosa. The drink menu was unclear as everything was priced. But the server noted, first mimosa is "part of the brunch deal". Such a deal. Food quality was OK. Prime Rib was dry, tough, and over cooked. All the potato options except the mashed potatoes, looked like they came fro the freezer case at Costco. All had a fake crusty like coating on them. Seriously. Tater Tots, versus for steamed red new potatoes or golden potatoes, from scratch? We've crossed John Ash off our list. Hopefully you are spared after this review.

    we were at a special wine maker dinner with multiple courses and multiple wines from Bacigalupi. The chef did an outstanding job pairing the food with the different wines and all the wines were delicious. It was a fabulous evening.

    My husband and I celebrated a birthday dinner at John Ash & Co. and, while we enjoy the atmosphere and service, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag this time. Since we mentioned it was a birthday dinner on the reservation website, the host kindly asked whose birthday it was and wished us a “Happy Birthday,” which was a nice touch. However, we were slightly disappointed that there wasn’t a special dessert with a candle like we’ve experienced in the past. The mushroom flatbread was delicious, but the TAGLIATELLE pasta was bitter and did not look at all appetizing. I ended up ordering the pea soup instead, which was fantastic. I want to thank our waiter, though, who was attentive enough to remove the pasta from the bill. My husband ordered the WAGYU BEEF SHORT RIB, which was described as being braised for 18 hours and it was tender. However, he received just one tiny piece of meat which didn’t seem fresh — it felt like it had been cooked a few days ago and just reheated. Unfortunately, this dish didn’t live up to expectations, and we wouldn't recommend it. Overall, we still love the place and the staff, but the food lately has been hit or miss. We've had wonderful meals here in the past — like two years ago when the portobello mushroom wellington and the vegan avocado chocolate cake really impressed us. Additionally, the dessert menu on their website didn’t match the actual menu, which was a bit confusing. We hope they’ll improve their dish selection in the future. For now, we’ll be exploring other options for our next event.

    There is nothing to be criticized at John Ash. First class operation throughout. Service especially was very attentive. Highly recommended!

    Great birthday dinner celebration. Service was exemplary. Extensive wine list. Food was outstanding. Setting was perfect except for higher level of noise. A personalized birthday dessert was special. All in all an outstanding dinning experience.

    Dinner following a show at the LBC. Tuna tartare, steak frites and braised short ribs, chocolate coulade. Food was perfectly prepared, and just the right amount to feel comfortably sated. Took home half my steak and fries. Service was a little slow, probably due to a large party, but friendly. Our first visit here in a couple of years, but still one of the nicest places to dine locally.
