  • Neighborhood gem
Yeobo, Darling, founded by chefs Meichih and Michael Kim (formerly of the Michelin-starred Maum in Palo Alto), celebrates Korean and Taiwanese heritages through thoughtfully crafted cuisine and ambiance. We honor tradition through our abundant banchan service, seasonal ingredients, and innovative interpretations of classic flavors. Our distinctive beverage program highlights tea-infused cocktails and premium sool (Korean alcohol) like soju and makgeolli, elevating traditional elements in a contemporary dining experience that bridges cultures while inviting guests into our shared heritage.

Delicious food and great service+ambience! soju barley/corn cocktail is a no go in my book though! Scallion bread is a MUST - I’ve never had bread and butter like that before - the shaved butter and its flavor - SO good.

My number one is Chicken Liver Mousse. Lu Rou lasagna was way too sweet for me although the filling was nice. Love the scallion croissant, good looking and tastes amazing. Crispy anchovy fried rice is a bit too savory, could’ve been better with less seasonings. Wagyu Kalbi was absolutely delicious although it’s on the pricier side. Love the Taiwanese lager and Yuzu Smash.

Every dish we had was delicious - standouts were the corn custard, scallion bread, pork collar, and soft serve. Service was attentive, friendly, and not the least bit pretentious. Perhaps the best part of the meal.

Great experience for our early Father’s Day dinner. Hubby enjoyed the meal and wasn’t completely thrown off by the price of the Kalbi. My son astutely pointed out that each Kalbi piece was mainly all meat—-no extra fat, bone etc. Also, at some other restaurants you get a bigger plate but oftentimes less actual meat. I thought I’d love the Perilla, but that ended up being everyone’s favorite dish. I enjoyed the Amberjack. Overall, we did a good job ordering, and I’m glad we didn’t over order. Service was excellent, and staff knew the dishes very well. That was helpful for us since it was our first time there. As with everyone, we enjoyed the scallion bread and the milk cream soft serve. We will be back!

This was our first trip to Yeobo, Darling. Daniel, our server, gave us some great suggestions. All were excellent. Our favorites were the scallion croissant loaf, the Wagyu beef, and the lasagne. The desserts were awesome. The carrot cake and milk soft cream (order the donut!) were unbelievable! The only issue, was the food was brought out too quickly. Less time to enjoy all of our choices. We’ll return! So good

Delicious modern interpretations of classic Korean dishes! Be sure to have the corn custard and the pork collar. Also, the most amazing dish of soft serve ice cream you will ever have in your life!
