   Char at Hotel Andaluz dazzles with Wagyu steaks cooked on a 400°F charcoal brick, each bite tender, juicy, and perfectly charred. The bamboo tower offers Himalayan pink salt, coarse white salt, and fresh black pepper for custom seasoning. Sides like parmesan truffle fries and Mexican street corn are crave-worthy, while sauces—chimichurri, red and green salsa, and pickled onions—elevate every bite. Alysha’s attentive service redefines hospitality. Dessert, a Pan de Muerto white cake with strawberry coulis, ends the meal on a light, sweet note.    Definitely worth trying. Great service. Excellent food. Great atmosphere. I recommend the Burger or the red chile enchiladas!!!!

   I had an amazing meal just like always. My plan is to keep going back until I’ve had everything on the menu. I’m almost there. Love, dining here. Great ambience great service great food.

   Great dining experience! We live in Albuquerque and wanted to try a new restaurant, so glad we did! The service was pleasant, the atmosphere was relaxing and the food was authentically on point. Only in NM can you get a flight of chili flavors :). One other thing, we were presented a handwritten thank you card for joining Char for dining. That was an added touch that we appreciated. Top notch dining experience, we will visit Char again.

   The food was good, food is a bit pricey. Can get food just as good at a reasonable price. Service was ok. Our server was busy helping others and seemed as if we were forgotten. We decide to order dessert, he brought us the dessert menu. He took about 20 min to come back, same happened for refills etc. He took long to come back to check on us.

   We celebrated mom's birthday here last night. The food and drinks were delicious! Service was friendly with a good atmosphere. There were a few kinks that will likely get worked out with experience as they settle in. Looking forward to our next visit.

   Great dinner, food was all local and the menu fit the ABQ vibe. Had an awesome green chile enchilada. I would just say they could turn down the lighting, it was bright for an evening dinner.

    If you're going to Char to enjoy the outstanding Josper Grill steaks, skip brunch and do for dinner, as the Wagyu steaks, served on a 400F degree charcoal brick. If you are only going for brunch, I recommend the Lemon Ricotta pancake, blueberries inside, served with lemon zest butter and agave syrup, or the Dulce de Leche French toast. The green chile stew is very good, just spicy enough for a local, maybe too spicy for a tourist. The stew comes with 3 hot flour tortillas and is full of tender chunks of Wagyu steak. The only steak available for brunch, pales in comparison to the dinner options, although the French fries were excellent.
