   The service was very friendly. Pork chop was awesome flavor. Sticky buns and tandy cake was awesome.

   Our night started out with a 6:30 reservation, never seated until 7:10….. That’s Ok, The first words from our waitress was will this be one check or two and we decided two…. We liked that this was offered. Then some rolls were brought to our table, three rolls in a basket for a table of four…Ok we asked for more…. Now our meals.. I had the scallops and twice baked potatoes and green beans and it was all good …. My wife had the Salmon and mashed potatoes…potatoes were cold.. The other couple had a Rib Eye steak that was over cooked and very thin/small for $42 and his lady had Crab Cakes.. The Crab Cakes were burnt on one side and extremely spicy….We then moved to desert and coffee….. Tried to get the chocolate cheesecake and the sever returned to let us know it was all sold out…. My wife wanted the Creme brûlée and the server returned to let us know that was sold out…. Now I decided I would take the Lemon Tort and as she returns, No Tort Either!! And now they found one slice of the cheesecake… So my friend and I shared that and it was very good.. COFFEE WAS COLD.. FINALLY check time…. The bill comes on one check, we asked for it to be separate…. The waitresses takes the check to separate it but was a bit snippy about that…..Now we get the separate checks and low and behold on each of our checks is 1/2 piece of cheesecake $5……. I never ever experienced anything like this…. I wish these folks well with the restaurant because it is very nice as they work out these issues.

   Great food, excellent service and a beautiful building. This was the 3rd time we dined at Circa, cant wait for the next time!

   Wrong glass of wine brought to my wife's steak was not cooked properly wrong bill was given to us.

   Atmosphere was amazing, great job by owners renovating a historic building. The food and drinks were so good. Will definitely be going back!

   I had a wonderful dining experience at Circa 1898! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but what truly stood out was the service. Our waitress, Sierra, went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. She was incredibly attentive—always right there when we needed something, yet gave us space to enjoy our meal. She had a kind, professional demeanor and ensured every detail was right. It’s not often you come across someone so thoughtful and on top of things. If you enjoy scotch 🥃, ask them for an ice ball and you drink. I’ll be coming back—and hoping she’s our server again!

   Circa 1898 is just what this area needed. A beautiful place to have a lovely dinner. The food was excellent and the service very attentive. When the cafe and upstairs sports bar open, it should be "the place to go" in the Mahoning Valley. Congratulations to Cindy and Dean for the gorgeous renovation of the historic building. We will return again and again.
