Located on the iconic Esplanade Avenue in New Orleans, Lost Coyote is a unique dining destination where local ingredients, vibrant ambiance, and unforgettable experiences come together. Inspired by the coyote’s untamed spirit, our restaurant embraces the magic of exploration, resilience, and connection. Our chef-crafted menu is a celebration of local ingredients and global inspirations.

Lost Coyote features a large event space on our second floor which can accommodate up to 175 guests. With the option of a reception style event, seated dinner, dance floor, corporate gathering, we are here to help you plan your next occasion.

The crown jewel of 1614 Esplanade is our beautiful swimming pool which will be open to the public year-round, this feature is coming soon for day passes, annual passes, and special events.

Whether you’re here for a casual night out, a romantic dinner, or simply to explore, Lost Coyote invites you to come as you are.

Come see our beautiful new space on Esplanade with Chef Nicole Theriot for our Sunday Crawfish Boil. $25 gets you crawfish + fixins + 1 complimentary beer + pool pass (for a future visit). We are running 2 crawfish boils, one at 5pm and the other at 7pm. While you are here, check out some of our regular menu items too! A reservation at 5pm or 7pm reserves you a plate, otherwise it’s first come first serve as always!

Absolutely lovely dinner. They were great to our young daughter, the food was absolutely incredible! The service was impeccable. They made a mocktail for me as I celebrated 2 years sobriety on the same evening! If you haven’t been yet… RUN to try it!!!!

Best pork chop I have ever had! Service was excellent and the Chef is divine! They also have a goat out back which was a cute surprise. Can’t wait to go back and see what else Chef Nicole creates :)

Great spot. Food is amazing. They should put some seating on the right side and the service is okay but not as good as it should be for food that good

Great new place on Esplanade. Great drinks. Free parking. Innovative and delicious menu. They even have a swimming pool and a pet goat.

Beautiful Oasis on the corner of Esplanade and Claibourne. Sunday night Crawfish boil is a STEAL and a great way to end the weekend. Fantastic well balanced drinks and killer desserts too!
