   The Empire Steak House has excellent food, good service, an elegant atmosphere and a great view, so what’s wrong? It’s hard to find. We found it online, booked a reservation on Open Table and had the address but, when we arrived, we saw no sign of the restaurant. It turns out it is atop the Ilikai Hotel but even when we entered the hotel, we couldn’t find it and had to ask at the hotel reception desk where it is. It has an elevator just for the restaurant that takes you directly to the top floor which has a view of downtown Honolulu and the harbor. On arrival, we were greeted by Julio, the attentive manager who asked us right off how we found the restaurant. We replied that we found it online but, on leaving, told him about our experience actually locating it. It’s worth the effort.

   It is one of the most beautiful view of Hawaii majestic esplendor. It used to be Pesca and they were horrific at table service. This current staff was very attentive and provided all the best comforts a restauran should provide. The food was good and they have a great lunch special that is under 40 dollars. One starter/ entre. Wishing them the best because it is a majestic location.

   Our waiter, Paul, and the entire staff were very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection! One of the few times that I have eaten out since the pandemic and not felt like I should have just cooked something at home! The views, especially the sunset, were certainly picture worthy!

   Exquisite !! The view is breathtaking . Romantic at its best . Everything was excellent and superb . Service outstanding food quality impressive . Highly recommend for fine dinning and wine connoisseurs . The manager Julio is outstanding and wine selection on point . Our server and staff attentive to every single detail. Highly recommend for an unforgettable evening .

   Awesome! Great views and service was top notch. Our filet was sooo flavorful and tender. It ranks as one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. Definitely a go to for a special night out!

   Great view! Escalator broken so hard for older people to get in from valet parking. Food delicious. Its a winner!

   The steak was undercooked. By the time I got my steak back, my partner had already finished his meal Food did not come out together. They charge for refills on soda.  By the time I got my steak back, my partner had already finished his meal.

   It was spectacular. Felt like we were on top of the world. Paul was awesome!!
