   We stopped by Dodo Bird for their Steak Out Monday special, $20 steak and frites—and we were blown away! The steak was cooked perfectly, the fries were crisp and delicious, and every bite was packed with flavor. The vibe was great, and the service was on point. We’ll have definitely be back!

   The music from the DJ in the restaurant was so loud you couldn't talk or hear the waitress. It was awful. It's too bad because the ambiance is great and the bar is really great. But way too loud to return.

   Wanted to love this place but it’s club level music and challenging to have a conversation over dinner. Also, a big mistake from the kitchen (plastic left on a chicken sandwich) didn’t even phase the server. Can’t say I’ll recommend or be back.

   We loved Steak Out Monday night. It's a great value and fun ambiance while we got to watch the national championship. It's a cute neighborhood spot we used for date night and will definitely be back.

   We didn’t have any expectations because I hadn’t heard of it before. Come to find out they opened two months ago and we couldn’t even tell. The food was on point from appetizers to entrée. The price point is unbeatable for Scottsdale and the ambience was great. On top of that everything came out in a timely fashion, and the staff is super nice and down to earth Don’t let the strip my location for you.    Pros - the decor was cute and the menu looked interesting. Cocktails all sounded tasty. It was lively inside, so probably a good spot to get drinks later in the evening. I was very excited to try this spot! Cons - We arrived right at our reservation time and the hostess said “we dont have any tables available and we dont know how long the wait will be. We are just waiting for people to leave”. She stated we could go to the bar to get a drink while we wait, and she would come find us when a table opened. We decided to wait for a bit at the bar, since it was Friday night and getting another reservation at 7pm at a nice spot would be difficult. I had to ask bartender for a menu after standing there for about 5 mins with no acknowledgement from anyone. The bartender I asked said “hold on” then about 2 minutes later a different bartender came up and asked how she could help us. I asked again for a menu, she set them down and walked away. Never came back to get our order. We ended up leaving about 30 mins after arrival because we had later plans that evening, and the hostess still couldn’t give us any sort of timeframe to be seated for dinner. Overall thumbs down first impression but the menu makes me want to give it another shot.

    Too loud, but that’s what’s the draw. Attitude from service. Service person acted like they didn’t need the job. Food was average. But people are here for drinks and the vibe.
