   Priscilla greeted us when we walked in and she gave us a tour of the restaurant. The drinks were strong and delicious, nothing too overpowering. The ambience is beautiful and the staff is so kind. Our waiter was truly a gem, he was helpful and friendly. We will definitely return.

   We had a 12/10 dining experience at Mezcal. Very much thanks to our server Sean who had great recommendations and accommodations for my friend who is vegetarian! The food and drinks not only have a great presentation but are tasty & high quality. Overall exceptional and a can’t miss especially if you have Sean as your server!

   We visited to celebrate a birthday. We had an incredible experience and the food and drinks were fabulous. The service was top-tier and everyone was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We look forward to visiting again.

   The atmosphere was wonderful. Food and drinks were both delicious. Our waitress Sam was so nice and helpful when explaining the menu. Extremely pricey but we knew that when making the reservation so we were prepared when the bill came but it was a nice experience and I would definitely go back again.

   Having anticipated the opening of this restaurant for 2 years, we were very disappointed. The food was just okay, the noise level was that of a lower scale restaurant and the overall experience was underwhelming. Sadly, it did not meet any of our expectations.

   Our experience was amazing! Ambiance is lovely. The hostesses were so welcoming and asked if we wanted a tour first. The staff was so friendly and attentive, our waitress was amazing! The food was incredible I had the octopus to start and the chips and salsa they give you is fire. Dinner I had the 20 oz bone in ribeye cooked to perfection. The corn and truffle fries were outstanding. The churros for dessert is a must. The drinks also were excellent. Mezcal didn’t disappoint. I’d say a 15 out of 10! It was my Mom and Dad’s Anniversary and Mom’s bday that we were celebrating, the espresso martinis came out and said Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary what a great idea!

    Ambience: 10/10. The moment you walk into Mezcal, you feel like you’re anywhere but New Jersey. The atmosphere is incredible — they nailed it. Drinks: The cocktails are over-the-top, with a full-on performance when they’re served. If you’re into Instagram moments, you’ll love it. Personally, I’m more of a “just give me the drink and let’s move on” type. Service: Staff was super friendly and attentive all night. We never felt rushed, and everyone was genuinely welcoming. Food: You’re definitely getting what you pay for — high-quality dishes with high-quality ingredients. I had the steak and pork tacos, the octopus starter, and we shared the tomahawk steak as our main. The steak came with chimichurri and cowboy butter — highly recommend adding both. MUST ORDER: The corn. Seriously, it might be the best thing on the menu. Overall: I’m giving Mezcal a 4/5. It’s a really cool spot, and the Mexican dishes are unique — but for me, it just wasn’t “Mexican enough.” Definitely worth checking out once, but not sure it’s a regular return spot. Cost: I spent about $400.
