    We stopped by for an early dinner. Very quiet with just a handful of other patrons. Dog friendly. Service and drinks were great but the food was surprisingly bland - even the kimchi had just a bit of heat and no flavors of acid and spice.

    The interior of this place is quite fancy looking well designed. Unfortunately because it's next-door to the hotel and there's a walkway that people walk through from the hotel to the elevators they walk right by the restaurant where you're eating, it's quite disturbing. I would recommend putting up something to screen the walkway, to visually separate the customers from hotel guests. The menu doesn't fit the decor it's very amateur-ish almost like a food truck menu in appearance. Difficult to navigate. All the food is à la carte and can get quite expensive. All portions including appetizers and mains are quite large probably too large unless you're planning on sharing. Service is average and inexperienced. Seems they still have some growing pains to correct. Overall the food was very good nothing to memorable. Not sure I understand the concept of creative Japanese it felt more Pacific Rim inspired kind of, they also had kimchi which is not Japanese. The food items on the menu seemed to be all over the place.

    Best value in Waikiki for me - been pretty much every high end restaurant and this is in the top 10 and number one for value.

    we had such a great experience! i’m gluten free and that can be tricky with soy sauce being in so many wonderful dishes in hawaii. our server went above and beyond and the chef made a few tweaks so I could still enjoy and share! cabbage salad with karage, garlic shrimp and miso salmon were delicious!

    China made the experience here wonderful The Food and drinks were amazing😋🫰🏿 The ambiance here is everything very relaxing and it will be a great spot for a date night or just to hang with the girls!
