   I reserved this restaurant for Easter brunch weeks before taking my family on a trip to San Antonio. Despite accepting my reservation and having me confirm it via Open Table the day before, this restaurant wasn't even open on Easter! There was nothing on their website about closing down for one of the busiest brunch days of the year. There were several other cars that pulled up with the same issue. This restaurant clearly doesn't care about their customers. When is they take your reservation, they may just not feel like opening. They really ruined the end to our otherwise wonderful trip to San Antonio.

   Great servers. Friendly and welcoming. Food was fast to get to table after ordering and was delicious

   The food was absolutely amazing. We received amazing service from the manager to the server. When we left the restaurant, multiple employees wished us a good day. I would recommend this place to anyone that visits San Antonio.

   Truly disappointed in the dining experience. The food, ambiance, service, hype were not worth the $65 we paid for a brunch that lacked taste. We made a reservation and even arrived 30 minutes early. Our hostess wanted to seat us an area that was DID NOT meet our desires. When asked if we could possibly sit somewhere else (like not so close the a major artery), she told us we would be placed on the bottom of their waiting list. Instead of just leaving, we opted to make this a positive experience. Fast forward to when the food arrived. We were never asked if salt and pepper were desired, not was there a full setting of silverware. We ordered simple dishes. Scrambled eggs with grits, bacon and fried green tomatoes. None of which had a desirable taste!!! Come on now!! How do you jack up those simple dishes (rhetorical question)?!?! Later in the day, our stomaches began to ache. It wasn't for psychological reasons, but rather the vittles weren't as good as advertise. Shame on you Texas Eats for recommending this place. Lastly, a waitress dropped a full plastic cup. No problem. Accidents happen!!! However, the five or six servers in the immediate area laughed continuously about the incident. In the meantime, the cup's contents splattered my pants. Not one person acknowledged their customer's. We weren't physically affected, but it would've been a nice gesture to inquire. So the food is GARBAGE, the service is SUSPECT, and there's a LACK OF ADULT LEADERSHIP. Not worth my money and time ever again.

    Last visit, food was not great, but we returned today because the beignets are AWESOME! Today. unfortunately, was not good either. My husband had over medium eggs, sausage, and some sort of bread because they don’t have toast. My son had pancakes and bacon, and I had beignets and bacon. Shortly after taking our order, our waitress ran down the street to move her car because it was going to be towed. We needed coffee refills, so I approached 4 EMPLOYEES STANDING IN A CORNER DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. A lady walks away speaking in Spanish so I can’t understand her, but another worker tells me she’s taking care of it. But nope, she goes to tell someone else to get us coffee while these 4 continue to do NOTHING. The girl she sends to us forgets our coffee and goes about her business. In tbe meantime. my husband goes to get help AGAIN. Eventually we get a coffee refill. My husband’s eggs arrived a rubbery overcooked mess. I told him to send them back but he was worried they might do something to his food at this point so he ate it, but they were so awful. We were never offered any additional drinks. This meal cost $80 for 3 people, service was non existent, and my husband’s food was nasty. I won’t be going back as this was the 2nd chance, and it’s way too much money to have any aspect of food or service not be top notch. Save your money. Get beignets to go and skip their food and service . I seriously hope management reaches out about this terrible experience.
