   My husband and I made a reservation for 2 at 5:00. We were seated and inquired about happy hour specials. Our waitress told us that we could only received those specials at the bar while understanding we’d be paying full price for drinks and apps at the table. Clearly, most patrons would choose the economical option to save money so we moved to the bar and I communicated this decision to our waitress. We were served at the bar almost immediately and received good service from the rotating bartenders. We enjoyed our drinks, apps, and entrees. I will have to admit that I wasn’t impressed by the subliminal messaging of the bathroom signage and pics. Genders were represented by a phallic, cactus symbol and a shorter, cactus symbol which represented a female’s labia minors and majora. Imagine if you were a child and could differentiate between the two because of your lack of understanding yet, it would be confusing. I also feel like it’s frustrating as an adult especially if you’re in a hurry to use the toilet or are impaired by drinking. Let’s just keep signs simple, regardless of political correctness. I’m not certain if we will be back based on some of these experiences.

   Booked my reservation for my gf's birthday dinner with OpenTable.. I guess they didn't communicate that with chilango. Food was good, a bit over priced and there's zero parking

   we had the enchiladas verde and they had great flavor and perfect amount of heat but no rice and beans. everything was a la cart. only had options of black beans and the rice did nit sound enticing. the kids menu was ok. they did offer jaritos which excited us! the queso was good but everything was over priced for what it was. this place has a beautiful bar and gorgeous ambiance. it was quiet on a Sunday night but we had an amazing server. I didn't catch his name but he had a tattoo of a ruer on his left arm. He was a sweetheart.

   I went to Chilango last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had the wings, nachos, beef brisket tacos, cheeseburger, pollo chicken entree, and the NY strip steak. Everything was AMAZING. So fresh and flavorful. The ambience was great and the space is gorgeous. Definitely will be coming back!

   I was expecting a better experience. Server was not very helpful in explaining how to order side dishes and quantity. Starters were very small portions, and ,maybe by design? Like tapas in a way. Won’t be going out of my way to return sadly.

   Intuitive and knowledgeable staff. Both appetizer and entree were quite delicious. Would highly recommend and looking forward to going again.

   Good food, great drinks, good service, beautiful setting. High noise level and very low lighting will pose challenges for anyone aged 40+.

    Our first visit to Chilango exceeded our expectations. ‘More than worth the trip from SE Apple Valley. Besides the fabulous food and wine pairings, it felt good to support their special fundraising event. We look forward to attending the next monthly-scheduled ones.
