   We enjoyed out second visit. We were able to sit outside - they have a lovely patio area. The service was a little slow, but the food and beer was good. I was disappointed they were out of a vegetarian entree, but the tuna pasta I had was very nice. It's a great place to have a meal prior to a show at the Carolina Theater.

   The beer was really good. Had live music which was great. Food was very average to below average and I felt quite pricy for what you got. $16 for a burger with no sides and a full bowl of fries for $11 that were similar in size to what you got for $4 if you added on to your burger order.

   The food was terrible—some under cooked and under-seasoned and the rest (gravy and cornbread) very salty.

   Ambience and service were good. Pretty quiet which was good for conversation but largely because it was pretty empty on a Thursday evening. Food was mixed. I had the brisket sandwich and enjoyed it. Brussel sprout appetizer was good. My wife got the portabella "burger" which she said was really just a slice of mushroom on a bun and not really sufficient for a meal. I like the set up having a small dining area set aside from the bar but wish the food was a bit better.

   My husband and I both ordered the ribeye with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The steak was tough and more medium well than medium. It had a sweet glaze but felt It was missing steak seasoning as it didn’t have much flavor. I asked for steak sauce and was brought the glaze and charged $2 for it without an explanation from the server that they didn’t have traditional steak sauce. It was very underwhelming. Previously they had a filet on the menu that was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Also it was very noisy and hard to hear from across the table, which is probably more to do with the specific dining room.

   We visited here 4 months ago and had a great selection of food and quality. Whatever had happened in the following months I don’t know, the charcuterie board was an insult, cheese was dry and uninspiring. Chicken wings lacked flavor and Brussels were burnt. Sorry we will not be back!

   One server taking care of the entire restaurant. Food was small portions and burger seemed like it was frozen and reheated. Not worth the price in my opinion

    We had an excellent dinner experience! We were a big group and they were able to seat us. We tried a few different cocktails and they were all delicious, so highly recommend the bartender for a dirty martini, the panic at the pisco or the espresso martini. The food was delicious! We tried a variety of appetizers and entrees. Its high quality food and well priced everyone loved their plates. Overall highly recommend Flying Bull for drinks and dinner.
