We had the tasting journey. Did not think it would be enough food but was lots! Gives you a chance to try some favourites and then decide what to order on your next visit. Presentation was amazing service was a bit quick. They did not want you relaxing between courses that is for sure. Almost too efficient.

Exceptional service and cozy atmosphere. Food is delicious. The weekday Savory Sensation special with beef Wellington is well worth it.

I literally have had a better filet at The Outback. Disappointed but at least I can say I ate at a Gordon Ramsays. Service was great.

I visited Ramsey kitchen in Reno Nevada on Sunday, July 12 and it was a good experience. The food was much better than the one in Las Vegas Nevada. It was hot and seasoned. I got the beef Wellington and the sticky toffee pudding. It was excellent.

Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. We had the crab cake for an appetizer, which is a very large but single crab cake with a light spring mix. It was delicious, one of the best I ever had. The crispness of the breading with the gooey inside, was incredible. I only wished it was two smaller cakes, one for each of us. We then had the harvest salad, which was a nice, light, fresh salad large enough to split, which we did. That was also very tasty. For our main courses: my husband ordered the pork chops with an additional side of broccolini and I got the prime rib which came with a roasted veggies. My husband was disappointed in the size of the chops, they were bone in, but didn't have that much meat on them. He was not wowed by them in any way. My prime rib on the other hand was a very generous portion so he was able to have some of mine. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, a medium rare, and came with a type of sweet bun, that really went well with the au jus. It was my birthday and I received a complimentary dessert, which was the sticky toffee pudding. It was delicious, hands down, so good but very small. Couple items of note: 1) There was a lot of time in between our ordered servings, they seemed a bit slow, maybe understaffed. We were there for just under 2 hours. 2) The ambience is ok, this is not really the restaurants fault, it's just very open to the casino and the main through path between the Reno Caesars big 3 hotels / casinos. 3) There is not a Ramsay's Kitchen bathroom, which we thought was weird, you have to leave and use the Circus Circus casino bathroom. 4) Cocktails were very good, I had 2 old fashions, bit of a disappointing beer selection, which was a second ding for my husband. Everyone seems to be stuck on the Lagunitas train, which was the only choice for an IPA. We spent $300 for everything, including tip. I'd say for the amount of food, it felt a bit steep. Overall, I'll say it's a good place to try.

We are elated to hear the prime rib and sticky toffee pudding delighted you, Katie! We noted your concerns about the pork chops, service pace, and beer selection. Happy birthday!

The service we had was outstanding. The food got out fast, and my husband love the whiskey cart at the table. We enjoy our time there, and food did not disappoint. I would go again... looking forward to hells kitchen when we go to Vegas next month to compare.

The food was spectacular and the service impeccable. We did do a smoky old fashion with the manager Joe and he was outstanding. Celebrated my son's birthday again at a Gordon Ramsey establishment. His 21st was at Hells Kitchen in Vegas. Loved both experiences.

We are thrilled to hear about the spectacular food, impeccable service, and Joe's outstanding hospitality. Happy belated 21st to your son — what a wonderful way to celebrate!

FAQs

Yes, Ramsay’s Kitchen is often a great choice for a special date night. Guests frequently praise attentive service, elegant plating and signature dishes like Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The dining room is fine‑dining and modern, so it’s well suited to celebrations, anniversaries or a splurge. Note: the restaurant opens onto the casino walkway, so it can be noisy at times; if you want a quieter table ask for a spot away from the main corridor or an early seating.

Early dinners are the best bet, the 4:30–5:30pm early‑bird/pre‑fixe window gets strong reviews for value and tends to be quieter. Weeknight early seatings (Mon–Thu) are generally calmer than weekend evenings. If you want the kitchen‑view experience, reserve that table in advance (it may have an extra fee) and ask to be seated away from the main casino walkway if you prefer a quieter night.

Families do dine here, and guests often celebrate birthdays with kids and teens. The menu and atmosphere lean toward steakhouse/fine dining rather than a casual kids’ menu, so younger children may be better suited to an early seating. For family celebrations or teens, it’s a popular choice, call ahead if you need high chairs, accommodations, or a lower‑noise table.

Portions are in line with upscale, fine‑dining service, moderate rather than oversized. Many guests say mains (Wellington, filet, prime rib) are satisfying but note sides and tasting‑style dishes can be modest. Several guests mentioned the Parker rolls and sides are generous, while some felt certain entrées were smaller than expected for the price. If you’re sharing starters or want extra sides, ordering a la carte sides is common.

Smart casual. The owner’s description and guest photos/reports reflect a polished, fine‑dining vibe, diners commonly dress up for date nights and celebrations. If you’re planning a special occasion, aim for business‑casual or nicer (no beachwear), and you’ll fit right in.

Yes, guests commonly arrange celebration touches, seating requests (kitchen view, booths) and dietary accommodations. Many reviews praise attentive servers who handled birthday desserts and menu flexibility; a few guests noted inconsistent allergy handling, so call the restaurant ahead to confirm special diets, seating needs or celebration requests to ensure they’re noted on your reservation.

Busiest: weekend evenings, holiday nights (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s) and show/concert nights, guests report fuller dining rooms and longer waits. Quietest: early dinner seatings (around 4:30–5:30 pm) and weekday evenings (Mon–Thu) outside of holidays. Early‑bird menus and weekday reservations often yield quicker service and a calmer atmosphere.

Dinner service begins late afternoon and runs into the evening. The restaurant’s published hours are Mon–Thu and Sun 4:30 pm–9:00 pm, and Fri–Sat 4:30 pm–10:00 pm. If you plan a holiday meal or early‑bird special, check with the restaurant or your reservation platform for special hours or prix‑fixe offerings.

Partially, families do dine here and guests often celebrate birthdays and anniversaries with children and teens. The dining room includes booths, bar seating and paid “kitchen view” seating; some guests noted being seated near busy bar/doorways. The restaurant doesn’t list specific accessible seating online, so if you need wheelchair access or a low‑noise table for family comfort, call ahead and request accommodations when you book.

Yes, Ramsay’s Kitchen operates on major holiday dates and has hosted special holiday menus (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day) according to guest accounts. Because holiday hours and prix‑fixe menus can vary, call ahead or check the restaurant’s reservation page to confirm availability and any special seating or menu options.

Weekdays (Mon–Thu) are the best choice for a quieter experience, with early weekday dinners offering better value and faster service. If you prefer a lively atmosphere, Friday and Saturday nights deliver the full energy but also longer waits. Sunday evenings (earlier service) can also be pleasant and less crowded.

Warm, modern fine‑dining with a bustling, restaurant‑in‑a‑casino feel. Guests praise polished service and an upscale plate presentation, but many also note noise from the adjoining casino walkway and occasional loud music or passersby. If you want a quieter, more intimate experience, request a rear table or an early seating, otherwise expect lively energy and a special‑occasion atmosphere.
