    overall an excellent experience. The food was great. The service was very good. It is, however, a very loud restaurant. Additionally, I am not a big fan of side-by-side tables for two.

   We really enjoyed our chopped beef sandwiches and stronganoff. The service was great my only complaint was I never got my coke. We'll be back for more great food!

   Agnes and Sherman delivered an amazing meal that was a true representation of Houston. The food and service were exceptional. Will be coming back soon!

   Overall, one of the best unique places I have been in a long time. I will definitely be going back. Wine menu is extremely reasonable. You can get a good bottle and enjoy a feast that tastes amazing all at a fair and reasonable prices.

   Very nice overall but we found the menu to be quite limited in terms of selection. In particular if one does not eat meat.

   The decor is unique- combination of traditional and modern. The staff are welcoming. The food was excellent- familiar favourites with creative flair. I wish I had been able to try more and will be back soon.

   Portions are very generous, when they say family style they MEAN bring your whole family!! Our server was so sweet and I loved that she kept it real with us that we were over ordering and to save room for dessert. The dishes were so unique and unlike I've ever had anywhere else. As a biracial Asian, I appreciated this fusion deeply. We'll be back with friends to share!

    We were so excited to visit on opening day. Food was incredibly tasty and creative, service was wonderful—you can tell their team is excited to be here—and the design of the restaurant was so perfect with beautiful touches throughout. I loved all the thoughtful details that went into making sure the space was functional for both guests and employees, like coat and purse hooks on the booths and multiple server stations in different points in the restaurant to make sure service runs efficiently. We loved every dish we tried (Rangoon, BLT, crawfish + gumbo egg foo young, and beef ragu rice cakes) and can’t wait to come back to try more. The portions were refreshingly generous, which our server said reflects the spirit of classic Asian dining experiences. The drink menu was fun (and funny) and the wine list was thoughtful too. We have been following along the Agnes and Sherman journey since this concept was announced and anxiously waiting for opening day—I can confidently say we will be regulars and it’s so wonderful to see another chef owned, chef driven restaurant open in Houston that seeks to both serve and represent their community. I can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes together!
