   Empanada appetizer was outstanding, though large for one person. Fish tacos were OK.

   Delicious tacos, chips, guacamole and enchiladas. We had great service. It’s a beautiful spot.

   The only issue I had with the place was I ordered the birria tacos and no where on the menu did it say they were spicy. I really can't handle spice and even my friend who likes spicy said they usually don't have as much of a kick. I shared with the waitress and she went to check, she was able to find out that yes they marinate the meat in a spicy marinade and offered to make me something else. I agreed, as I had only take 2 bites of the tacos I had. She asked if we wanted to keep the plate because they were just going to throw them out. I agree and even said don't worry about getting me new rice and beans because I would just eat the ones from the original order. My friend took mine since they were just going to get rid of them. When the bill came, I was surprised that they charged us for all 3 meals, considering the waitress acknowledged that the menu didn't specify the heat level and that she wanted to get me something I would actually enjoy. If I would've known we would be charged for 3 meals I would've sent the majority uneaten plate back and gotten the full meal including new rice and beans. In my experience restaurants usually remove the one meal. We didn't make a big deal because the waitress, Jackie, was wonderful!

   I’ve been coming here since they’ve been open at the Thornton park location. Kristin our server was amazing and the food was great. Sad to hear Ashton leaving. But overall from the food, service, bartenders. It was just a great experience.

   My wife and I had another wonderful meal at F & D Cantina in Thornton Park. Our server, Jason was friendly and very attentive and his recommendations were spot on. The food was great and I look forward to eating there again soon.

   Food was great as always, but service was horrible. It took nearly 30 mins to get our drinks that we ordered shortly after we arrived. We placed our order including the guacamole appetizer. After another 30 mins our entrees arrived but no guacamole. The manager told us that they had run out of guacamole and offered to comp us with chips and salsa. Very nice gesture, but why didn't anyone tell us they were out when we ordered it? What kind of Mexican restaurant runs out of guacamole at 6pm on a Saturday night. About halfway through dinner, our server checks on us - first time since ordering - and we order another round of drinks. We finished our meal and still no drinks. We finally had to flag down another server to inquire about our drinks. We finally got them, but we'll after we were finished eating. Our dinner lasted 2 and half hours which was not our plan. I realize they had a party inside and were understaffed but then they shouldn't have accepted our reservation. We could have gone somewhere else. Again, food was great and value is good, but be prepared to wait.

Running out of guacamole and not informing you at the time of ordering was definitely a miss on our part, and we understand how frustrating that must have been—especially with long wait times for drinks and check-ins.    We’ve dined here several times and have always enjoyed it. Last nights service was great but that’s all. It wasn’t busy yet we were seated in the very back of the restaurant. All four of us said the food was bland and warm not hot. Maybe there’s a new Chef? We probably will go elsewhere for Mexican food next time. Drinks were great!

   Loved the extensive vegetarian menu. Excellent attentive service. Good sized portions (two of us split the vegetarian fajitas).
