   We came in for lunch with a party of 9 and were seated without a wait. Our server was friendly and took our drink orders shortly after we were seated. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and sides - sand dabs, shrimp tacos, clam chowder, shrimp salad, salmon salad, sweet potato fries, pineapple slaw were all wonderful! We all appreciated the separate checks and we will be back to try other entrees on the menu!

   First time eating here.. After living in Hawaii & Alaska, I consider myself to be a fish “snob.” However, the seafood here did not disappoint! If I lived in in SLO, I’d be eating here frequently! Great service too! Highly recommended!

   Great service, great food, great atmosphere! Lure was definitely the right choice for a very perfect anniversary dinner.

   The resturant is very nice and has a great ambiance. The waiter was fine the food was also fine. Drinks from the bar should come out quicker. They need to work on the calamari. The oysters were good and present very nice.

   Really great overall! The ambience excellent. Seafood fresh and seasoned perfectly. Service outstanding! Recommend the crab cakes and tuna ponzu crudo! Delicious!!

   Took my visiting family here for an early dinner. Ambiance was great and the appetizers (calamari, crab cakes, and those biscuits!) were on point. Cocktails were solid too. Unfortunately, all the fish dishes came out overcooked, and the rice sides were dry and flavorless. Service was slow—took 15-20 mins just to be greeted and check-ins were rare. Great apps and drinks, but everything else was just mediocre at best.

   This was our first visit to Lure, but it won't be our last. Biscuits were delicious, and our tuna poke bowls were very tasty, although a bit too spicy for our tastes. That was our fault as the menu clearly stated that there would be serranos in the dish. We should have and could have asked that the serranos not be used, and will do so next time. It's a nice restaurant, too, that makes you want to sit for awhile and enjoy your meal.

   Service was awful, never checked on us and took forever to get our drink order. Very disappointed in the food and the price we paid for the food as well. The ambiance of the place was nice but the service and presentation was not good. Most likely will not be returning.

    Music was way too loud & terrible EDM type music - opppsite of what we expect of an upscale restaurant. Did not fit the look or demographic at all. The calamari was good - nice dipping sauces. My sand daps were super greasy - such a light thin fish shouldn’t be served so greasy 🤪 same with Brussels sprouts - flash fried so doesn’t have to be squeezed out in one’s napkin before edible. All I could taste was the oil The presentation of every dish was lovely & would try it again to see if it was an off night. Really want to love this place since great location & decor.
