   This was my first visit. I went to try out the chicken which they are noted for only to find out that they were out of chicken. To say the least I was very disappointed. The owner and waiter were very apologetic which I appreciated. Other food items were just Ok.

   George, Again, I am sorry we disappointed you on Easter Sunday (yesterday) by not having the fried chicken dinner available when you arrived at 4:00. Based on your comments, it does seem we miscommunicated just a bit. We actually did have chicken last night, just not when you ordered your dinner. Totally our fault. We worked from 2:00 (Brunch closing) until 4:00 (Dinner opening) to fulfill a huge amount of take out orders at our Mitchell's Chicken Porch. We failed to estimate and have sufficient chicken cooked and ready when it came time to open for Dinner at 4. Again, it was our fault and I am extremely apologetic that you did not get the dinner you wanted. I would like to offer you a Mitchell's Chicken Dinner "on the house" if you visit again.    Our food was excellent and our server Bella did a very nice job. Everyone is so kind and we love the atmosphere and live music.

   Great place to eat. Wonderful service and very great atmosphere. Went on a Saturday night and there was even some nice live music. Great place! One of the best in Lynchburg by far!

   Our server informed us they were out of ribeye's! The only choice was a filet or another item that was not steak. So we had to move to plan B. We opted for salad bar, steak bites and soup. The food was good and the bites were so tender. Just was odd that a steakhouse did not have any ribeye's. It was my birthday so the complimentary parfait was very tasty. It's always good to be able to make a reservation online. Very convenient.

   Jeanette, Thank you for your visit and review. And, Happy Birthday! You are correct, we were unusually busy on Monday and Tuesday of this week and we did run out of ribeye during service last night. We apologize for the inconvenience it caused you. No excuses on our end; just an explanation...our normal Wednesday truck delivery got delayed. It is the first time it has happened to us and I really hated the fact that it did happen.    Great evening. The entertainment on Tuesday nights is wonderful, perfect for an enjoyable night out! Steaks are perfect, Salad bar is fresh and extensive. Our server was very attentive without being intrusive. A++
