   This was a business dinner and we were seated in their lounge room. Great ambiance and service. The music was not too loud. Our whole group hear each other and carry on a group conversation. The food great! The cocktails were excellent!

   Service extremely slow and inattentive. Waiter acknowledged this at time of the bill and responded by saying then let’s just skip the survey! Also, the unannounced add-on of 22% for our party of 6 was ludicrous given the poor service. Won’t be going back any time soon, and can not possibly recommend this to any one.

   We had after dinner drinks here and between 10-11 the back space becomes a club with a live DJ and music. It was nice to already be there and go from sitting and enjoying drinks to dancing. The service at the table was a bit slow.

   I ordered the linguini pasta with chicken. My chicken was dangerously rubbery, hard to cut and undercooked. I won’t order that again. I didn’t say anything though, just didn’t eat it Our wait staff was amazing in spite of the cooks who made my plate.

   This was some of the best food I’ve had in awhile. The staff was excellent. We got the skirt steak with chimichurri and the lomo. Do not sleep on this place as it’s excellent. The dark woood intimate vibes were spectacular. Don’t miss this spot.

   What happened to Reforma?! I heard they were closing so I went to dinner last night one last time. I see why…it was DEAD at like 8 pm. Disappointed they removed some of the menu items like the Branzino! That’s why I went! The tinga chicken taquitos were dry and tough, the Elotes were just ok and came out cold, along with the seafood risotto which was kind of like a paella. The sauce looked like it had been sitting out a while, it was forming a film on it. Ended up taking most of it home to reheat. I like my food hot. Service was and has always been great. The server was interesting, a bit too animated but a nice guy. I would say I’m going to miss this place but I already miss how the vibrant atmosphere and food quality used to be. Adiós!

    Fantastic wait staff—answered all our questions and were very attentive! Amazing elote! Get it, you won’t regret it! Drinks and entrees were solidly portioned and well flavored. Absolutely recommend La Cocina and am looking forward to my next culinary adventure there!
