Greeted with courtesy and smiles. Waitress explained special in detail. She made it sound delicious and it was. This is a wonderful date night place, elegant yet cottage home feel.

Very nice experience. We celebrated an anniversary there and they gave us a celebratory glass of bubbly. The restaurant is small and is situated in an older house. The menu is small but thoughtful. This is fine dining! Two people one appetizer, one salad two entrees two cocktails and a glass of rosē, $180 before tip

One of the most beautiful intimate restaurants in San Antonio. The chicken was very tasty and the duck was a perfect medium rare. The drinks were okay albeit it just a tad overpriced, but a worthy tax for the atmosphere and service!

The kids and I took my Wife for Mother’s Day (yeah, a little behind with my review) and it was absolutely wonderful! We had the last seating and really enjoyed the chill vibe, the beautiful decor of the home, the nostalgia, and OMG the food was AMAZING!!! We will definitely go back!!! 🥰

We went to Restaurant Claudine for the first time for Mother's Day brunch. The hostess was friendly and accommodated our desire for another table than one first offered. She brought water for the table. Our server was poor. We waited almost 15 minutes before she came to our table. Other nearby tables. covered by other servers. were greeted more warmly and promptly. Upon arriving, she asked if we wanted water. We said that we already had water, and as she was preparing to turn and leave, we said we were ready to order. She asked if we would like to order the entire meal and she would "course it out." We agreed and ordered drinks, an appetizer and entrees. The appetizer, the deviled eggs, came out promptly. The eggs are very creamy and prepared with a hint of horseradish. We found the horseradish to be a bit off putting, but that's a personal preference. When our entrees arrived, we still had not received our drinks. We asked the runner and she said she would find our server and ask her to get the drinks. For our entrees, I had the chicken paillard. It was a very nice dish - well prepared and visually appealing. My wife had the chicken and waffles. The waffle was thin and significantly over cooked - the texture of cardboard. Since our server was nowhere to be found, we asked a runner to have the kitchen remake the dish. When it came out, it was better, but still with a harder outer crust. My wife said that their griddle was too hot. Our server finally showed with the drinks. It also took a while to get the check. FYI... Claudine takes your card back to the server station and does not use the hand-held point of sale terminals. This was our first, and last, visit to Restaurant Claudine. At this price point, the Pearl area has many better options, (Unfortunately, I was late booking Mother's Day brunch, and this was what was available).
