I made a reservation about a week before December 31st and even called the restaurant the same day to confirm the reservation because I needed to adjust the number of people attending. The reservation was confirmed on the phone, so I was looking forward to dining at this restaurant.
When I arrived at 7:30 PM on December 31st, as scheduled, I was shocked to find out that the kitchen was closed. To make matters worse, there was no one at the door to greet or assist me. I waited at the front for a while and eventually had to go look for someone. When I finally found a waiter, I was told with an attitude that the kitchen was closed.
This experience was especially disappointing because we were not only celebrating New Year’s Eve but also our anniversary. While I understand that unexpected situations can arise, the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. There was no prior notification, no alternative offered, and no genuine apology for the inconvenience.
The lack of communication, poor customer service, and dismissive attitude left a very bad impression. A restaurant that values its customers should ensure better planning and communication, especially on such a significant evening. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place based on my experience.
